Great, well ticket is in.

Honestly, I wish you the best of luck with that.

The most I have ever received from gree was a great big F U in regards to restoring accidentally sold buildings.
And I'm not talking about Laundromats here...

I'm sure that once the ticket has been passed to the developers, all will be wonderful in the world again...

Negative ghost writter.

You are S.O.L.

I tried for months to talk some sense into the devs after accidentally selling a Vinnies Chop Shop early one morning. I pleaded my case and laid out solid reasons for the restoration. They eventually just started ignoring my tickets...

A bunch of cheap amateur con artists is what they are...

it depends on if you are a heavy gold spender or not.
They say They done with this but I saw one that had his buildings back just the other day. Of course all stacked on each other so they can not be robbed just like so many others

Hey OP,

We no longer do this as a confirmation button was added when selling buildings. Apologies for any inconveniences or frustrations this may have caused.

I understand that there is a confirmation button but is the reason why you aren't reinstating them because extra work created for the support staff? Some sort of hacking thing?? Give us anything except for because we said so. I'll take any answer for you taaah.

Mods don't really answer questions, they just throw out some key words and hope the thread goes away...that's why you have to rely on the CC community...

I know. It's just frustrating when it happens to you and the mods answer like an auto response and all they need to say is we have had a holes that like to exploit the system to receive free money or extra buildings and this is the reason why we can't do it anymore. I would respect that and move on. Now I'm just moving on negatively instead of positively.

I never even figured out how my vinny's chop shop disappeared... it was just gone one morning. They said I sold it. I didn't. Never got it back.

If your game was lag free, that would be an acceptible response. It is not, and it is not.

i do remember complaints about people abusing it though. I imagine it is quite the time suck to verify a claimed "lost" building was actually purchased in the first place, given the volume. I am sure some people put in false claims, only Gree knows how many.

still, it sucks when you get caught in lag land and lose a building over it.

This is another obvious sickening lack of customer service. At least just say it like it really is "Gree only cares if it's convenient for Gree". instead of apologizing for Grees super lackluster care for its customers.

Instead of apologising for the inconvenience and frustration why not pay back all the gold that was taken from people ? Just a thought :p

I accidentally sold my Level 4 Deadly Disco after the game lagged when I was collecting, stock response from support.

That's me done spending money on this game.

Hey "Community Manager"

How about addressing the question everyone is putting out there about the lag. Yes there is a confirmation button but when you press an area of the screen to collect money where there is no button, then the game catches up and puts this button when you pressed.

So strictly speaking I didn't press the confirmation button as it was not on the screen when I pressed.

Look forward to your response....

if the inventory to store buildings would actually work for storing buildings they could easily replace that sell building button for a "store" button and if you accidentally did hit it, it would go into inventory instead of selling it. now if you sold it from inventory then your are SOL

What really sucks is the few players that cheat, hack or glitch and screw the rest of players. They used to restore accidentally sold bldgs or if a glitch occurred etc. But someone lied, got bldgs for free, told others and rest is history.

Interesting thing is that Gree obviously cannot tell what bldgs you had, whether you sold them, etc. So many exploits take place because of gree having no idea what players are doing in many respects.

I'm pretty sure they can tell if you sold a building.

They can. They use some sort of time stamp and restore building(s) in the exact same location. I guess I got lucky quit game and ended up coming back and gree restored my hood upon request. Logged in and entire hood was back exactly they way it was prior.

Hey ******,

Thank you for contacting us!

While it is our policy that we do not provide building restorations, I was able to make a one time exception for you. There is no way for players to hack into another player's account. The only way your buildings could be deleted is if someone had access to your device. Please make sure you have a passcode on your device and that no one else has access to your device.

Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

V

Just a suggestion, not really a solution for lag causing an accidental building sale which honestly happens even with the confirmation button...

GREE could profit on this, and code a section in the menu where you can use 100 gold (or whatever amount) to rebuild buildings that have been sold in the last day or 2 or week, whatever amount of time until the rebuild expires at whatever gold cost.

(IGN changes used to be free if you asked. Now it costs 50 gold.)

There is a thread where CJ said people are asking for buildings back and didn't have them or at a different level so apparently not that well. Why no more restores except for occasional "one time only" give mes.

That would be a great use for this presently useless feature.

GREE can tell; they know every move you make in game. They'll say anything to dismiss tickets.
Sucks that a few will ruin it for honest players.

The abuse actually came from players selling gold buildings, like PTs, for huge amounts of cash, like an exchange rate and then asked GREE to be rebuild it = free cash!

Another abuse happened when players sold a building and asked GREE to rebuild it while rebuilding the one sold.
Instead of waiting for GREE to rebuild, the player would rebuild it, and GREE would rebuild it, and that player ended up with 3 money buildings instead of the max 2 each = more free cash! GREE would not bother to check if a hood had 2 already.
IOW, 1 built & 1 being built =2 + plus the GREE rebuild =3.

I don't see any hoods with extra money buildings anymore, and I know there were other glitches, like weak wi-fi, to get more than 2 money buildings, which have long been fixed.

Some players tried desperately hard to hide their extra money buildings to avoid being reported, but we all know it's impossible to hide them.

(Frostys are the only money building with 3 max.)

Make a collect all income button and you will never accidentally sell another building again!!
