The reason you only get $80k per attack, is the same reason that (smart) player doesn't bank. If you take more, they would bank their cash and you would get nothing.

If I banked I'd lose $80M per day vs losing $80k to an attacker. I'd rather give up that $80k to you rather than fees. I'm sure you'd rather it that way as well. If they raised that cap to 8 or even 7% of what I have on hand I'd be inclined to bank rather than give some the satisfaction of winning that much cash. But 1/10 of 1% you can have.
