Groupme sucks. Be careful with it because it will access your mail app without permission and mail people stuff like room invite requests and such. If you have a personal email attached to your mail app, it will use that even if you use anonymous information to set up the groupme profile.

Could you elaborate on that? I have been using GroupMe for over a year and have yet to experience this issue. There are other things I dislike about GM, but every chat app has something to dislike as well as features not found in other chat apps.

The email address I used to sign up for GM is not attached to my mail app, and GM has never accessed my mail app (yet?).

Mine isn't attached either, but the one time I did an invite, I found an email afterwards in my sent box.
