I think it's a neat way of enticing people to buy chests. There's a low buy-in cost, but unfortunately there's a low chance of an epic as well as compared to the other chests (let's not debate what the 3x, 4x, 5x, and 6x means in this thread - there's already enough of that going on elsewhere in these forums). The cost is in line with the 4x single chest openings too, so this doesn't feel like much of a ripoff (minus the 3x chance as compared to the 4x chance). The guaranteed rewards cycle through, so if you buy 6 chests, you're back at the first open again and you have a chance to get more fusions.

I opened 8 and got demortius also.

I opened 12 and got absolutely nothing...was an awesome feeling...robbed me :(

Its still not worth the gems due to the low chance of getting anything useful.
