What is the Medal reward for in WD??

Hey guys I´ve seen that Gold, Silver, Bronze medal in WD Top 1-3 now in the current rewards inventory GREE increase them to Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Copper Medals for top 1-5, what is that about any special reward?? Im very curious about or it just a label for that position?

I think it's just a bonus reward with no att or def stats attached to it, in there inventory it would look like gold medal of Thailand 0 att 0 def 30 % whatever

No it has stats and boost attached, it just a unit with some high stats (400k+ attack and defence)

Its no a dumb question Im just curious about rewards on top 1-5 Ill never able to be part of a faction 1-5 so I just wanna have an idea about it because they are not receiving any unit just the bonus so I though that things has to be something special for that big effort to reach until the top. That is it

The prize for top 5 ( formerly top 3 ) is a boost only , and does not show up in your inventory. It does appear under your boost page with your boost units . Medals is just a name ( I believe at the start of WD it was President / Vice President / Prime minister )the title does nothing , just a boost ;)
