You know what would be cool to see? Syndicate goals for the case event. Similar to EB, it's a daily syndicate goal (for let's say 300, even though that'd be highly challenging) for the amount of successful cases open. I, as well as many others, always participate in the case event, but NEVER receive any useful prizes. I will never spend gold on a case event again, as last one I lost a good 160 gold (which for a free player is a lot), but I still do cash openings. This is a chance to receive some decent prizes and/or mods. It would definitely make the case event more popular, and maybe even upper gold spendage.. Win win for both the players and GREE.

Yep, been done a long time ago in KA & it is nothing more than a jump-fest for marginal stats...

And, then all the whining threads get posted because players are left out of their home guilds or they're in "guild limbo": not in or out of a guild. GREE's servers aren't made to handle so many jumpers or something... It's always a mess.

It would be different if the items only counted for the syndicate goal when received, but paying players get 10/10 within the first couple of hours and start hopping: their 10 items count towards every guild goal where they join; repeat for each goal which goes something like 300, 350, 400, etc... KA is going thru event overload and I hope GREE doesn't do the same to CC.

Agreed, they're a massive waste of time, a bit like case events where the vast majority spend 3 days stuck on 9/10 opens.

is this another present from gree ? i`ve managed to open 4 boxes with cash and got zilch , and now the games crashing everytime i try and withdraw cash . thats me given up on these box events , a complete waste of time .

I'd like to see them replace it with a new event.. But that would never happen. Tam's at the top of the leader board right now with almost 200 cases, imagine how much gold he spent to get there and how much gold GREE would lose if they took it down.

there was people with over 20 cars in the first hour . the first 5 i opened i got nothing with cash hits , how are people expected to get motivated to keep opening at that rate . im not expecting it to be easy but if you need 25 cars there needs to be some hope of actually doing it !

Same here, with cash hits the first 7 I opened I got the same freakin 'sorry nothing here spend gold and try again' message

Dont bother, at least you stopped at 160. I just literally spent 2100 gold only to get 20 of those little cuban cars while never receiving the last item needed to complete the set for the BMFG X3.

If 2100 gold would only get me to the top 250 then I wonder how much gold has the #1 person spent on this event in order to receive 201 Cuban classics. Perhaps we're looking at 2100gold X 100 = 210,000 gold, or maybe its a glee employee.

If someone is willing to spend so much to get to the #1 spot then I highly doubt glee would ever modify this to the free player's advantage. Just stick to playing for free and let the rich waste their moneys on this game.

Anyone that would spend gold on these case events needs their head examined. It's Gree's biggest scam on this game since it's not guaranteed and all but luck to complete the set.

Gree did try a new format for the case event a while ago. One that I thought was an improvement and I emailed Gree with the suggestion they use it more often.
Instead of just a few chances to get a good prize gree stretched it out over 100. 5, 10, 15, 20 etc
It gave greater scope for all players to actually get items that had decent stats.
Unfortunately it appears to have been discontinued

Well it was a quarter implemented - you need to get 25 this time round instead of the usual 10.

It's a completely different event. The 25 car prize is like the 10/15 ltq prize... It's not the goal.

Seems like this was what the op was refering to, but what difference does it make? 10/25 same gambling.

Don't play case events any more, got royally screwed over for gold when the raid boss ran in tandem about a month ago, took me two days to even earn a case let alone open one.
