If that is indeed the case, and I suspect you may be right, then who would actually pay gold for this, that wasn't already putting gold into WD?
My guess? No-one. Only the normal gold spender will get this, and they probably won't even care.
So my thought? If this is supposed to generate more gold use, then Gree got it wrong.

People are doing it for the wrapper for completing all three days. If you do complete all three days, you'll get a +15% air defense boost for your efforts

My best estimate is somewhere around 2200 gold with my regen for this event. I passed due to the terrible daily prize. The wrapper +15% air def isn't quite enough to entice me. Had they started with health regen, energy, alliance def, building upgrade or even IPH I may have changed my mind.

Also - What happened to posting the prizes. Gree was doing AWESOME at this and then we got a second community manager and it all stopped. Just an observation, maybe I missed the reason why but I really liked know at least milestone prizes...

Goal is up, it's CUMULATIVE and you have to win 500 battles so an additional 300 from day 1..... FAIL

800 probly for the 3rd

Figures up to the 1,500 wins they normally do. Not worth it.

So exactly how is this different from the normal 1500 kills ? Again replace strategy of any sort with monitoring your kills specific to ranking and position and throw them out for cash.
