Weekend Event??

So, I do not see any in-game news for Wars or Raids this weekend. Have they skipped it before in the past or will it be a late add?

I think you can assume that it will be a Blitz that starts at the usual time, 11 am PST, Saturday Morning for me. They have announced a blitz 24 hrs or less before it began in the past.
