View Full Version : Argentina Cycle - General Asador's Elite LTQ NPCs & Walkthroughs

General Asador's Elite LTQ - starts 08.03

NPCs all start with "Fuego"

3 days of 24hr LTQs
Individual only, NO faction

Day 1, 2, & 3
-Individual
--Beginner (5)
--Normal (10)
--Prestige (15)

**Prestige gets energy intensive towards last levels. Reports of 25 & 30k energy requirements for last couple. Also reports of it costing 2300 gold to complete right away... buying the units would be cheaper @ 1780 gold each.
Check out the wrapper for finishing all three days -- -5% Health Regen.
...but that is a lot of gold for a nice boost unit
**I'm gonna rate this LTQ red and say don't do it. If you want to get the -5% Health Regen boost unit, buy all three Prestige units from the store for 1780/unit (3.5 vaults). That is a lot of gold for a -5% Health Regen boost. Not worth it IMO. ...if it were like the old ones they used to offer, -20%, that would be worth it

++Also noticed that the XP received for completing a level has been increasing for each day, while cash and valor prizes stay the same.
Increase per level, per day (approx):
-Beginner +50xp
-Normal +90xp
-Prestige +120xp ?
Sneaky. I don't like it. Valor prize should also be increasing... all this extra xp is no bueno

Yep. Low amount of NPCs and energy total. Enough for a one day event. Expect it to be 3 24hr LTQs

Hopefully prizes will be better... maybe the wrapper will be something nice, like health regen

I am usually pretty calm and polite on these forums. But Gree. I hate you. I really do. I have tried to be patient. Tried to give each of you a chance. But you place double kills on normal mode in a 24 hr ILTQ.

You are ...I can't even say it. I am so mad at your utter disregard for us as players.

I am done with you.

Over 16K energy just for Normal; forget about Beginner with that.
Not a good incentive and very poor form.

What a garbage wrapper reward. Health regen reduction boosts once were 20% and given out in the middle of energy events. 5% max health reduction (assuming you have zero of them now) isn't worth any gold.

Gree made a fatal error. They thought they could exploit our desire for Health regen bonuses by making it an impossible task without vast amounts of gold

Not only is 5% laughable but your attempt to extort gold purchases for this laughable 3 day event make you seem even more incompetent than before.

Unbelievable. Over 16k energy for a 24 hr event? At the Normal level? Unreal. Gree - how stupid is that? The lower level players are really starting to hate this game. We have zero chance of ever catching up.

TheDanimal

The health regen is sweet... but the -5% is kinda meager... being that the boosts are progressive, a regen time of 45min would drop to only 42:15 or something like that... I do miss the days of the -20% health regen. Those were nice.

The cheapest route would be to buy all three units in the store for 1780 gold each.
...at 3.5 vaults for a -5% health regen, this LTQ might not be worth doing
Will have to see what other boost units are offered during days 2 & 3

As much as I hate to buy gold, I would easily buy gold to pay 200 gold in order to finish an event that gave a +2/3/4 energy... Wish I had heard about this game back in the beginning...

Really? Most players can hit 99.999% of all players now. What's the point?!??

Those 20% might add 50M def, if you're lucky. So many attacks are north of 1B, again, what's the point?

Spending 5K gold to decrease your regen by a minute or 2? How does that save the gold spent?

If I did this, it would give me another 6 FA's over a 5 day period (of raid boss) for only 5000 gold? I can spend 150 gold to buy those FA's. If I shorten my wait time per hit by 30 seconds, that gives me another hit every 6 hours during war? 5000 gold for that? No way.

Don't be foolish; don't do this.

Exactly Thorm! Great point!

Aside from that, just wanted to say thank you to The Danimal, Larry Jackson, and anyone else who constantly puts the time and effort (and money) into getting all this data and posting it on here. It has helped me decide whether or not do participate in events (usually deciding not to because too much gold required). But again, thank you guys.

Gree logic:

The players want health regen bonus? OK Cool, lets wait a year to build up anticipation. Then give the lowest % possible, for $500. TEN TIMES the price of a full regular video game. Lets only make it available to the players who wont need or use it.

My logic:

No thanks.

I think if Gree had their time over again. they would have never offered up those 20% & 25% health regen bonuses and they have no intention of doing it again. Unfortunately I have only been playing for 7 months and will probably never get a decent regen time for my account. It has me wondering if I should just cut my losses now and stop playing. Waiting 7 months for a 5% health regen that costs so much is a huge kick in the guts for all of the newer players like myself. They obviously don't care about any of their customers.

Quit while you're as not heavily invested in your character. Either go free and have no expectations from Gree or quit while you can.

Waiting 7 months for a 5% health regen that costs so much is a huge kick in the guts for all of the newer players like myself. They obviously don't care about any of their customers.

Totally agree with all the quoted posts. This bonus is desperately needed by all players that weren't there at the start when the generous health regen bonuses it seems were given away. I've been playing since January this year and have wanted this type of bonus since starting. Seven months later and you offer a pathetic percentage reduction that costs more or less $500!!!!

Imo your greed and the contempt that you show toward your consumers and community is totally disgraceful.

well, at least they offered health regen bonus in ltq. Most likely messed up by not giving it in an fltq setting, but hopefully more to follow. Maybe next fltq it will be a -10% or so health regen bonus for prestige with some nice defense bonus for regular?...

I still don't get what's the point on bonus for missions payout though?... -_-

Agree: the event is absolutely ridiculous.

This was written about Argentina Cycle - General Asador Intel fLTQ NPCs & Walkthroughs where 279k was energy required to complete Individual Prestige.
128,811 energy is required for normal + prestige of one day in current Elite event and 386,433 energy is required for three days.

Gree can cancel LTQ-s at all if they go to give us events with such energy requirements.

I agree. They are making this too gold intensive, not enough time, rewards are crappy. Not getting involved with this GREEdy event.

LOL this event is laughable---I can maybe see the energy requirements being attainable in a two day event, for the energy, but three insane energy days in a row...I will pass on this event.

Simplest solution, vote with your engagement. Just don't do it. I've reviewed the information, the impact of the status on my account and made an ROI decision. Basically no thanks to this one.
If you choose to do it then do it with the understanding of the outcomes and what it buys you.

Gree logic:

The players want health regen bonus? OK Cool, lets wait a year to build up anticipation. Then give the lowest % possible, for $500. TEN TIMES the price of a full regular video game. Lets only make it available to the players who wont need or use it.

My logic:

No thanks.

Holy bat poop batman!! You mean to tell me I can spend as little as $500 to get a 5% health boost for this game! Let me quickly consider some alternatives...

hmmm..

- For $500 I could buy a Xbox and a Playstation
- For $500 I could buy a big screen TV
- For $500 I could buy an ipad
- For $500 I could buy a new computer
- For $500 I could buy a fully stocked liquor cabinet (may need to do this anyway if I spend to get this boost)
- For $500 I could buy an ipod each for my 3 kids
- For $500 I could buy a washer and dryer
- For $500 I could buy a self-propelled lawn mower and weed eater
- For $500 I could buy a dyson vacuum cleaner
- For $500 I could buy 5 season passes to most amusement parks
- For $500 I could buy a refrigerator
- For $500 I could pay my car insurance premium
- For $500 I could ...

I think you get the point. In conclusion, good job Greed!!! you made my decision easy for this event.

Just as another reality check...this is from a faction member who took the time to figure this out. Gree mods please read and explain how this is even worthy of a prize.

So I was trying to figure out if this ILTQ was worth it for the 5% regen. 5% regen gets you 15 extra hits in war, if you never sleep. 100 gold gets you the same. This ILTQ take about 110k extra energy per day or 2200 gold a day. 3 days is 6600 gold. It would take 66 wars for the regen to pay back versus just using gold to refill health in war. 66 wars and 17 days between wars means you break even on the 5% regen in 1122 days. Or about 3 years.

Thank D/Alex in PPBS for this small insight of this ILTQ.

What gree should have done was made each final prize for finishing the normal chain a -5% health regen mod. Giving people a shot at -15% & the option to go for the extra def mods. Then had the wrapper at -5% as well to give those that went the extra mile a total of -20% health regen. Considering you can't finish normal goal chain without dumping gold.

Gree you can change a mod on prizes whenever you want so do it.

Thank you all for sharing your insight. I was actually contemplating finishing this event. Looks like I have some free time on my hands now.

Another realization: unlike boosts that increase such as x% defense increase, reductions work differently. Unless it's your first and only regen reduction, you will not get a 5% reduction from the 25minute starting point. If the percentages simply added mathematically you could get to zero or negative regen times. For mathematical simplicity assume you start with 100. Your first 5% reduction lowers you to 95. But your second 5% is is 5% off of 95 not 100 and reduces you to 90.25 (not 90%). The returns continue to diminish the more you accumulate. If your faction health bonuses are maxed (at 7ea 5% reductions) you really only have a 30.2% reduction from your starting base (not 35%). And your next 5% reduction only yields a 3-1/2% reduction from starting point. For health the starting base is 25minutes for each hit. 3-1/2% reduction cuts 53 seconds off regen time. At $500 gold cost mentioned by others you pay over $9 per second = $566/min = $34,000/hr.

Add to that the XP/level-up penalty and it's a no brainer. Being a no-brainer explains why Gree does things.

Keep in mind that 15 extra hits in the war is the MAX benefit. If you had other health regen bonuses already the 5% does even less. That means for most people who are actually crazy enough to buy this unit, (because they are the top few players) the benefit will do even less for them. Thats all aside from the fact that they more often than not use gold refills anyway.

Now this does also help on RB and EB, however, the bonuses there are so small too.

What a joke.

i was taking,my time - pre-staging every single target thinking I would be cool and swoop in on the 3rd day for an easy finish.

Oooops - didn't consider that the last targets were 8 each of 6 times the kill - so my one little presaged hit would even matter.

Thanks Gree for ruining the ILTQ. I don't think I've done one in about 6 months - which just means more energy for my faction goals :)
