faction jumping

Has this been stopped? I have a new recruit who left his faction to join us but we are unable to add him even tho we have the space available, we get a msg sayin not allowed while event is live. If this is the case some notice would have been nice as now this recruit will lose out, will this also be the case for wd?

It's been around for a bit if you were not in a faction before you can join one during wd and fl. If you leave a faction to join another you won't be able to. Just happened to my mini today, left to help with a lte kill and got locked out of my faction
