I am glad they brought a Starmetal armor back for this war, but sad it is only limited to 11-25.

On iOS, the war starts on July 21, 2014 at 5:00 PM EDT (which is weird in itself since they usually base things on PDT/PST), and it ends on Jul 21st, 2014, according to my screen.

I don't ultimately mind that the reward is Startmetal, as my guild is mostly on vacation and we wont do so well. The rewards should be more themed to the type of event, and the Red Kaleidoscopic armor fits this.

No offense, but that sounds like you work for Gree. This is the worst reward ever given out, period. There is no argument for it...
And of course you don't mind!!! Are you serious??? NOBODY WANTS TO DO WELL...you get a better reward for 100th place than for 11th!

Nope I don't, I am just a very optimistic player/engineer. For guilds and players who don't have decent gear, they can benefit from the rewards. What are the odds of your guild to even get in that bracket?

We take Top 25 whenever we want to. Soooo pretty good.
However, Elita just responded to my other post, it seems as though Red Kal was a mistake! :)

It's true that those newer to the game--who have not yet seen ANY chromatics among their own armors--will be excited to see something they don't have, and hope it's a good item. Whether "Noob Enthusiasm" should be mocked or embraced remains to be seen... ;)

I agree. I'm new on the forums but have been playing for about 5 months. Honestly I never really looked at silver or bronze chromo armors because I knew there was absolutely no way for me to get one. I'm extremely glad that gold is a chest epic. I'm in a decent, top 100, guild but that's a far cry from the top 10 it would take to get this baby in guild wars.
