I don't really need this boost type, though I will help and participate.

I have yet to experience a delay with rewards for this type of event.

Just to alert someone to potential confusion, if you click on the blitz icon, the banner says that the blitz starts on July 13 (on iOS, anyway). The war really starts today, July 12, according to the news icon and the timer.

Of course, if this gets screwed up...well, let's hope it won't be at the same level of screw up as the raid...
