Why can't we get the community included in some beta testing, rather then releasing an dysfunctional product. No one will want to do raid bosses next time around because this has been a joke.

many games have an entire server dedicated to beta testing in a small area, i always refer to this game, but they seriously know what they are doing. Brave frontier has a server specific to japan, and they get content about 6 months in advance, who test everything before it hits the global server of the game.

I could see all of the regular top ten guilds being willing to do public beta, the week prior to events

A month? Two?

With this game, you wouldn't need months.

When problems come up, GREE has illustrated a capability to fix something in days. If GREE did this, they'd be able to pick the best time to suit them...but even a week would be enough time to address the major issues and would be a marked improvement.

I like the idea of a Beta environment. Hopefully they would also accept some noobs to test noob errors at noob level. *volunteers* ;)

i still think more than a week is needed, this is why

if this event was tested by beta testers, they would find the 2 points per attack problem, they would find the little nit picky problems, they could probably also pinpoint a way to keep each attack connected to the server so each time one person attacks, it will show on the main orc that damage has happened, so 40 people isnt hitting one orc. Eventtually they would find out how awfully boring it is hitting the same boss a hundred times in a few days. this would need to get fixed. then sent back to the testers, another week of testing THAT release. i say a solid month of testing new content would be needed.

We do have a beta program for some of the GREE game line-up. We can discuss adding this game to that list. Thanks for the suggestion.

Copy accounts, give them say 2000-3000 gems to test big events...might alieve some heartache on both ends of the screen.

Thanks for the response

Please discuss, then go on to approve. This game needs testing. Please. :)

It was already too boring fighting these orcs for real prizes. Do you seriously think anyone would spend days fighting the same orcs for no prize?

Some have enaf time , gamming experience , the wish to help. Also beta testing will allow to prevent the problems (or at least major ones) so to have a product more enjoyable. Think at this raid boss even , if was tested properly then maybe the boring part and all the problems was not to happen and we was to have a better event ;-)
A beta testing will not be alweis , only when they will want to release new events or new content so some weeks testing from a selected number of players will benefit all of us.

product earlier ,with confidence and stay ahead in this fast moving world!

How to use beta testing
GREE could do this beta testing by selecting a few people to download a limited .apk file. The updated Knights and Dragons file with the new things implemented.
This "testers" can play a shorter version of the event in order to search for bugs, glitches, etc. Let them play as it is an already released update. Give them gems to spend, actually give them the rewards (only in that specific .apk file).

Once the testers are done, delete the .apk file and launch your product.

Absolutely! The biggest spenders/most active players in the game will be able to give amazing feedback on what Gree can do to keep earning our money! Probably need more than a week prior, but beta events would help reduce the security issues and bugs in the actual release.

My ex used to pride himself on being able to "break" any game; by going outside the boundaries or scaling a wall that should be climbable. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there willing to spend their time finding problems for you to address!

They have to make the beta-test different as the actual event. Otherwise, a certain amount of people could plan their strategies and stuff like that. It could work, but GREE must not show the actual rewards, design and elements.

They can show everything with no problem in a beta testing. Think at Alpha and beta testing from pc games , the sistem will be the same and can only benefit gree. I partecipate and some alpha and in almost all beta testings from Origin , Steam , Uplay clients from the games in last 5 years. Personaly i downloaded and played more beta that real buyed games. What i can say for sure is that every single game that did a beta was better that the games who didn't. Also i can tell is realy fun to push the sistem and mechanic to find variable problems , bugs , gliches and give a sort of satisfation on knowing i "was" , i helped to improove "that". Since gree already do beta testing for some of their products , they will know what to show and what not.

I think this is a no brainer: The top guilds already enjoy pushing themselves and each other as far and high as they can. This would give them something fun to do; how often are you ALLOWED to try and break the game? Win win all around.

You need to admit that top players are present mostly in top guilds and we speack about people who have gaming experience (most are top players in more games not only KnD) , people who have time and the devices (most of them use several accounts in top guilds using diferent devices with diferent android versions or ios). For a beta test are neccesary players who can see problems and realy report them , players capable to know at what and where to look. I don't want to give names but if u look in forum was guilds and players who report bugs/gliches in the first hour they get out. I don't want to say in lower guilds are not valuable players , capable players , i just say is hard to search them there. Anyhaw is enaf to do a check betwin this forum most present people and to look in what guilds they are ;-) most top 10/25/50 are here.

i dont think you understood what hes saying. if you gave the best players the game, a week, or a month before it came out, they will have the best strategy to get more points than anyone else by methods they either found playing a month ahead, or whatever reasons.the games you beta test, have nothing to do with a competitive edge. if you "beta tested" minecraft, big wooopdie doo. you played a game that they up front told you, im only saying its beta cus we want to add more stuff.

that's like beta testing questions on jeopardy, then re asking those people to come back and actually play.

I undestand what he was saying , but still is not realy like this. Take raid boss for example , the mechanic we undestand it in first hour and the mathematic calculation of the points was made in the next 4 hours so in our guilds was everything calculated in 5 hours of play. We didn't need weeks or months , so where is the diference ? Let's be honest , the strategy will be done after 1,2 days at max for top guilds (this why ARE top guilds). Is normal to be used diferent elements on gears/bosses/rewards in the end will be a beta test (if will be) so softly diferent that the finished product.

P.S. Yes i play minecraft , it sucks (personal opinion). I liked more the beta from crysis2 , alpha & beta from crysis3 , battlefield 3 & 4 , titanfall , need for speed , farcry2 & 3 , civilization , total war series , starcraft , ecc , ecc (the list continue , if u want it full i can pm it to u)
