Top 250 syn prize

What's the point of the Top 250 Syn prize? Last war (the day long one), the top 250 syn prize was a 9k attack item with a slightly larger modifier than the top 400 prize which comes right before it (and the attack was I think 20/40k on that item.. I forget). That's a big jump from top 400 to 250 and the prize is far from worth it. My syndicate didn't even bother to try and go for the top 250 (we ranked 252.. go figure).

Even this upcoming battle, the top 400 syn prize is 25263/22403 + 6% car defense while the top 250 is 13983/11439 +7% explosive defense. Any reason as to why this is? :P

No "reason" is necessary. At that rank the prizes are free, and if you hit 250 you still get all the lower rank prizes.

I guess the top 400 prize is made "more" as to encourage the top 500 ones to spend some $ and get that prize.

It's always been like that same as top100 is 47k and top75 is 25k it's all about the mods anyway

That's because you are just adding that one on top of the others below it. Its not that top 100 is better than top 500, its that you get both

It's the mod that's worth the effort. Mods will continue to contribute to your stats for as long you play the game. If you rank in top 250 you get that prize + all prizes for rank 400, 500, 750 etc.

Lol I understand what you guys mean but the prizes should be gradually getting better, a slightly larger but still small modifier and a crummy item isn't worth the jump from rank 400 to 250 and the amount of gold we'd have to spend.

Are gold even necessary for top 250 if you have an full active team? Whatever, if it takes gold it can't be much to get a decent mod that will help you over time. It's much more bang for your buck compared to LTQ mods etc. If you have low stats maybe it doesn't make you jump big now, but it will always be there and help your stats more and more.

I agree, they should take the +10% influence from top 3, reduce it to +5%, and move it to top 10 instead.... Then make top 3 a mafia defence mod :cool:

If they did change it there would still be someone crying about it if you don't like it go for a lower rank
