I know factions are locked but we want to take an account out, we cannot kick him and the player can't leave the factions. Is this normal, I thought someone could leave if they wanted to

If he's doing it willingly, he can do so when the faction is not at war.

Lol would think the same thing if it wasn't one of our leaders minis. It keeps giving a server error when he goes to leave

He is likely trying to leave while a one hour war is going on. Once a war is declared a player cannot leave until the war is over.

Have him try to leave between wars and it should work.
