Its a good thing A&F is no longer here to list prizes ahead of time. Otherwise, the five people that rushed through and spent to finish early would not have done so.

Seems to me that you have spend so much gold for smth in this game and failed to get it or you are very jealous to those who spend gold in this game. Otherwise I don't see a reason why every post of yours in this forum is gold, gold, gold...

Nope. I enjoy reading about people spending money on this game and then complaining about all the stuff that goes wrong - and that always happens.

Please re-read my posts I encourage players (especially top 10) to spend money. What I don't like are morons who spend money on this game and whine about stats, ip, ip other teams got, building size, energy requirements, sore losers etc etc. these losers don't get that the more they pay the more gree is going to increase the gold requirements.

Worse are freeloaders who play for free and think that everything should be easy for them. You get what you want you pay for morons, and if you want more pay for it.

Basically everyone here whines and that's what's funny to me.

That sums it up. While I agree with the OP that this LTQ is a bit ridiculous in the energy spent vs the reward in weapons and stats, just look at the threads. Most whining about insignificant stuff and often with contradictory threads. A couple of days ago there were 2 treads, one claiming the current LTB was the best ever (hyperbole much?) the next whining about being tired of the LTBs being small buildings (really? you WANT to spend in game cash on expansion?).

May be why the mods don't answer these threads much? Damned if they do/damned if they don't.

Healthy discussion is one thing, and what I think was started with the OP, but just picking apart every aspect of the game just to have some reason to start a thread is asinine.

Actually, (and sorry for going back on topic) it should only cost you about $100 in gold to 'buy' this event if you're that way inclined (that is, if you have being doing it since it started you should be on about 7/10 or better) and the final reward isn't exactly terrible. It would cost about 1500-1600 Gold to buy the 75-80k energy required to finish it off. 10% Explosive Attack is a pretty good reward and you get a base Stat boost of over 250k Att/Def along the way.

If you are heavy on the Explosives in your inventory, a 10% att increase is a pretty big gain for not much outlay.

OK, so not that attractive to the idiots forking out $1,000 per week, but not to bad for the novice or low to mid stat player. And yes, you could spend that gold on thrashing out the next Battle for Empire City, but seriously, unless you're in the top 100, the prizes aren't any better than this one...well, some of them are, but you get my meaning!

It almost seems that for the same cost you would get a better mod from the individual rank in war, with the added bonus of scoring points for your team.

I don't use gold either way, so I could be way off base here, but if I had a vault of gold to throw away I'd keep it for war. Or at least not spend it on this LTQ.
