Hey guys! If you've found your way here from EE, welcome! You'll find much to love in Knights and Dragons...there are similarities, but one huge difference is THE PVP SYSTEM AIN'T BROKE.

I'll post a number of links to help you hit the ground running, so you don't spin your wheels the first week or so, like I did. ;)

Legendary? Super Rare? Medium Well? Heh...match the stars and determine your armor's rarity:

http://www.turktech.us/lonecrusader_images/rarity.jpg

EDIT: If you defeated an Epic Boss and crafted it, your armor is Legendary (check the stars). You'll only get true Epic armor giftwrapped out of a box (er, chest). If it doesn't have 5 green stars, it ain't epic. See post #7 below for more on Epic Bosses.

How the elements work:

http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20131209010206/knightsanddragons/images/thumb/7/7d/Elements.jpg/600px-Elements.jpg

Remember, when you have an armor with two elements, the one on top seems to have more effect when you attack. Therefore a Crius (Air/Earth), should do more damage against a Water type than against an Air.*

* You more knowledgeable types feel free to correct me. ;)

Epic Bosses Info: http://knights-and-dragons.wikia.com/wiki/Epic_Bosses

Too bad we can't go back and summon bosses from before we joined the game... :(

The EBs return and get progressively harder. Keep fighting them until you can't progress, then hire folks from your Friends List. Go as high as you can, leveling up your armor as you go. Once you can beat an Epic at Lvl 15, you'll be able to craft their armor (win!). You can craft 2 more at Lvls 43 and 60. (If you level up the first crafted EB armor to + at Lvl 35, you'll be able to craft a + version the next time, which is preferable.)

^ All of this info is available elsewhere on this site. Standing on the backs of giants and all that. :)

NOTE: You must defeat minions to summon the epic boss. The game will toss you at your latest incomplete map battle, but that's not necessary: Go hit the Earthquake Worm (1st map location) on Epic setting, and you'll get the points needed in short order, without damaging your knights too badly. ;)

Any new Epic Empire refugees should just PM me. We now have our own website, Guild, etc, and you're invited to all of that.

Tell me your EE ID and your KnD friend code and I'll get you set up. You're gonna looooove this game!

To help you remember what beats what:

http://i57.tinypic.com/xfcdo4.jpg

WATER puts out FIRE's flame
FIRE burns, and SPIRITs wane
SPIRIT soars o'er EARTH beneath
EARTH weighs down it's AIRy sheath
AIR dries up the WATER's game
WATER puts out FIRE's flame

Orrrr, the short SHORT version:

Water beats Fire
Fire beats Spirit
Spirit beats Earth
Earth beats Air
Air beats Water
Water beats Fire.....and so on and so forth :)

I would suggest it is better to go to skeletons tomb. Might as well get some snakeskin for your efforts.

Thanks for the suggestion! I actually do this now, but at the time of my original post, I was a much lower level. :)

Things to do in Knights and Dragons:

KnD has loads to do; if you expend your energy in one place, you'll find you have energy to use in another:

Region Map - This is where you carry out your typical adventures, gaining levels. Fully expend your health here battling various minions and bosses on the map, then...
Arena - This is where you fight your fellow players in the ring, gaining prizes along the way. Expend your 5 energy points (when full), then...
Friend's List - Every victory here counts as 20 points in the Arena, going towards more gold and goodies. Then...
Epic Boss (EB) - Defeating the EB 15 times will allow you to craft that EB's regular armor. If you upgrade it to level 35, then defeat the EB 43 times, you can craft the plus version of EB armor, a stronger version. There are milestone prizes along the way.

It's been awhile, but here is the latest for my clan, re: Heroic sections (Star Shards, Part I):

In each section, you will face regular enemies, heroic minions, and heroic bosses. The minions and bosses drop items that can be used to craft special armor; go to your Armorsmith(s) and scroll to the right to see what new items can be made, and how many more drops are needed to craft them. The boss also drops star fragments about 40% of the time. The bosses do NOT require a power hit, though the minions do.

NOTE: I list the armors I've used on these sections. You might have better armors that I do, or have better luck with different combinations. The boss on section 8 is a beast!! ;)
