We know Gree are saying nothing.

I really hope that those points are wrong...........

No gems being used. Popcorn at the ready. Watching the leaderboards for the obvious hackers. Reading everyone *****ing about the hackers. Laughing and just not giving a crap about this war.

In fact, it was so easy to get thousands of potions, and you didn't need to have a jailbroken device.
I only needed two hours of LTQ before finding out a trick, but I didn't use it as I thought it would have been unfair... Won't happen again

LOL everything is easy if you cheat. I dont think the programmers intended for one to have thousands of potions. That is just absurd. The question is, who is to blame, the programming or the ppl who exploited the situation? Will GREE do something about it?

There will be People who exploit these situations always so I'd say the programmers as they MUST do something about it. However, Gree won't even answer this thread

That is true, there will always be cheaters. But if they had it coded properly there wouldnt be anything to exploit in the first place.

You're right, suddenly 2000 players left their guilds and created new guilds, but Gree didn't realize LOL

I don't blame people that exploited the flaw. However, when someone has THOUSANDS it's not a flaw but a hack. Those people I can blame.

thinking about what was written above...how would you solve the problem.

if someone wants to drop gems (spend money) why would the devs stop that
we don't want guilds locked; then we can't help our friends/family guilds
i think there are some very clever players here who are early adapters and they just get it.

there are a few that break the rules; but how do you prevent it?

It would have been simple to max each potion to what was required for each level of the ILTQ - developers need to think through and avoid unintended consequences - the real issue is the hackers not the farmers though

Have no issue with farming, it was my issue long before most even heard of it. However, those farmer might be penalized by placing a cap in order to stop the hackers. When Gree said the itlq needed 40, I doubt Gree envisioned players having several hundreds let alone thousands.

The simple fact is some people realised early on that these potions could be easily farmed that isn't cheating that is just being a smart player... these people got anywhere up to and even just over a 1000 potions. The problem is with the people who hacked and received 199999 potions (now im not convinced this hack worked because if it had I think we would have seen some unusual names on the LB) as for the SS showing 9000+ CP I don't know alex or which guild he/she is in but that could have been achieved legitimately it would take someone with roughly 950/1000 potions hitting a Mega Attack.... if it was a single attack then yeah I would question it but I don't believe that is the case but I guess we`ll never know unless alex comes forward and tells us
