Data Usage - Admin Please Read

I know that there is a thread on this in the MW forum but please can you also investigate the data usage issues with KA?

In the last 18 hours of accessing KA solely on a 3G signal I have used 93.4MB of data for KA and that is solely accessing the game every hour to collect money buildings, empty my energy on the LTQ and then vault and leave - not even accessing the rivals list to raid or battle.

In 14 days I have blown through nearly 1Gb of data solely on KA and MW which is ridiculous.

In other games where I have been accessing more regularly and actually battling rivals, I have used KBs of data instead of MBs.

With the wars coming this weekend and again solely relying on 3G for the majority I fear that my data plan will be destroyed.

Please can you look into this and investigate asap?

95% chance that this is due to the higher increase of pings between your device and their server. Part of their anti-cheat thing they put in awhile back that killed some of the work-arounds people had been using. The game has been force checking the server every... maybe 20-40 seconds? I'm not sure of the exact window, but it is extremely frequent.

That's what I think is going on here. That's downright ridiculous to be using almost 100 Mb in such a short time though.

I appreciate that it may be an attempt to prevent the hacks etc that are occuring but a heads up to everyone would have been good!

As I said, I have 3 other games I play (which I cannot divulge here in case I get banned!!!) and I have been accessing them 5-10 times an hour (working nights gives me plenty of time to do so!) and over the same period, each one has used up less than 1MB of data so the shear amount taken up by MW and KA is starting to make me wonder about quitting as my 4GB data plan is getting brutalised!!!

Honestly?

I just did a test myself. 30 seconds on 3G to load in, didn't even have any buildings to collect, bought one weapon, and went to my profile. 2.7 Mb used. That's ****ign outrageous. No wonder my 6 Gb plan came up short last month and I had to refresh it on my tablet.

Also, a hint for GREE. It's the DATA RECEIVED that is reaming us. Not the data we're sending to you, but what YOU ARE SENDING TO US.

I think some of the data useage might be from client updates(data pushes), some is from guild quests as there is a data stream for each reward(unsure on size), and then there's guild chat...ect.
There is a lot of information going back and forth. But would be nice to know what gree says our average per hour of game play should be on data useage. I also use 3G when at work or when not at home.
My first lesson was to log in midday around 11:00am-12:00pm pst. on the wifi, to avoid the quest data pushes on my 3G.
Would be nice to know ahead of time when a data push is coming so we don't kill our cell data plans, and use wifi for them.

HAHA so funny ...as i started a new month plan start of month (Captain Obvious) just got text msg from service provider that i have gone through HALF my monthly data pack in 3 days.....and i only logged on to see what was happeneing in this game ....thanks for that GREE..another reason
