Got locked out of last battle

I went back for regen hits but got a pop up saying I wasn't battling. The timer had about 1 min left.
The fact that our opponent had 700 k more and was 150 places ahead of us I will save for a different thread

Which timer are you referring to? The "Event" or the "Battle" timer? The Battle timer can still show time even when the Event timer is at 0 if you haven't exited all the way out of the game.
