It's like a store that is supposed to be open at 9am and they flip the "open" light on at 9am. Only thing is, when you try to open the door, they just stare at you and don't acknowledge you are there and want to buy things. The establishment would know before 9 if they won't be ready. A simple "hey, we'll unlock the doors at 9:15" makes everyone happy instead of that premature "open" light. (Aka "progress" tag)

We are all standing at the locked door Gree. Can someone either unlock it or give yet another excuse and timeframe? =)

Yeah, we've seen all this. Isn't it time for something new?
I'm sure they're working on it and we can expect to see some changes; next time - event will NEVER start, but we'll still get the Bugs/Glitches!

Also these events have been running for over 3 years. Its not hard to run this event correctly.

Perhaps we can offer Gree more of a financial incentive to do something correct. I'll buy a vault of gold each time you release an event on time and without bugs.

If you haven't noticed, the frequency of problems is correlated with mw drop in revenues in the app stores... That said, none of these are new types of events so the ineptitude is shocking.

Thanks for the update. I was concerned that Daylight Savings Time, Leap Year, Climate Change or the switch to the Julian Calender had really messed us up. Comforting to know is was just SOP.

Is it really too much to ask for the developers to look at a calendar and compare to the game? This gets really old to have a problem with every... single... event. PLEASE... Talk to them; figure out what's going on.

You make it sound as though this was planned when the reality is that it was not. Why can't you actually provide some real information instead of vaguely stating what's obvious to everyone in that you screwed up AGAIN!!!
