GREE is able to utilize three different events that really hit the spot and get them the most money possible, regardless if you have high stats or low stats.

Event type #1: Requires huge gold amount, generally equal gold spending to complete event. These are targeted to high stat players. Example: LTQ. GREE will calculate how much gold an LTQ will cost to finish, say 5,000 gold. Because you only get 1000 Energy for each refill, most people over level 50 will ahve an equal opportunity to receive the LTQ prize. So essentially to finish the event everyone must spend the same amount of gold (Or separated by a small discrepancy depending on your starting energy) High stat players are more likely to drop tons of gold on these events.

Event type #2: Favors high stats, low stats are punished. Example: Raid boss, epic boss. GREEs logic behind these events are to incentivize low stat players to drop tons of gold to finish an event. Another one of GREEs dirty little tricks, epic bosses start off really easy and get deceptively difficult. These events require low stat people to drop thousands of gold if they desire to finish these events. If they can get a guy with 10mil raw attack to spend 25 gold to Force Attack a raid boss rather than a 20 million raw attack guy, they just made profit because the 10 million raw attack guy gets less damage for his money.

Event type #3 (Slowly failing): Randomized chances of winning - gold spending is all over the place. Example: the new "Collect 5 of X and win Y" and box events. GREE realized that most people don't even participate in these events but their logic behind it is that they can get someone to spend between X (a minimum value) and a very large value of gold. Since these events are based entirely on luck, someone could drop thousands of gold to finish, while some spend only a few hundred. The goal is to get more people to spend thousands and get more money.

I just noticed that GREE has 3 distinct events that utilize different methods to squeeze the most money out of players. You have to admit they are pretty damn clever, or maybe the players just get dumber and dumber. And don't forget with the addition of syndicates it makes the gold spending multiply and multiply even more.

agree in this point - some month before the "change" i was able to finish every 10/10 case event with a good participation & without spending gold. Today its nearly impossible its hard to finish with a lot of gold.

yes its their job or ? at the end a player must decide what the best to do - play or not.
