Guessing its a slightly different take on the normal epic boss like the axis of evil was as I'm pretty sure this boss was used in the past. Maybe a 30 boss event.

A few cycles ago, Gree had an event that started at 7pm Est. That's a possibility.

Possibility number 2... it's a weekend. We all know they don't work weekends. So if there was a massive screw up on this event, it won't be fixed until tomorrow anyway. So I would say if it didn't start by 7:05pm, good night.
