Most of us know that Modern War just went through a major stat inflation due to bigger units available in the store. Do you think that this major change is coming to Crime City? Or do you think that it won't ever happen in Crime City? I'm interested in what ya'll think

Do you play MW? Did you see 10 mill stats change to 50 mill stats overnight? Yea i know there is already stat inflation, but not to the degree in which MW players are experiencing. And i thought i did say "ANOTHER" stat inflation

It could happen if Gree can figure out a way to port Full Assault over to crime city. On the other hand, many of the MW units can be destroyed which isn't the case here.

last stat inflation killed the store items, the defense buildings and the respect points.
i don't think we need another stat inflation

It's not a question on whether it should or shouldn't happen. The question i asked is whether it is going to happen, and should we prepare

Inflation is healthy, every economy is based on it. As long as it's steady and not turning into hyperinflation.

So going from 20mil which cost thousands of dollars over a years time to 45 mil at barely any cost in a few months isn't hyperinflation lol now everyone can attack everyone else and there are seldom any good robs to be found unless you look for a long time now, not to mention all the people the inflation pushed away how is any of it good

True, but unless your 20 mil player has stopped spending they're also going to put on the theoretical 45 mil aren't they? The ones you should feel bad about are the handful of big spenders in the old pre-syndicates game. I dread to think how much the likes of Sam spent to get to 400K attack back then.

Yes, it was a painfull process but the silverlining is that hackers did not know how to play without their advantage, and the massive exit may have actually cleaned the population.

If you spent thousands of dollars on a bunch of pixels, that's exclusively your problem.

That is what I meant quit spending and doubled stats free I started when 400k was great. The first post was meant to read I picked up 25 mil to make 45 total free in a few month where it took a hell of a lot of gold to get the 20 mil to start

Yeah your right no one else spends money on this app lmao. Sour because you can't it will be ok

Very few economists would even give you a luke warm feeling to your message. Small price increases may be justified but not inflation, and certainly not the inflation at CC (or even worse MW where it went up 32x overnight)

Most major countries have an inflation target. Ben Bernanke said that the US Federal Reserve had an inflation target of 2% (same as most developed countries).
That's healthy and part of growth.

No point of comparing cc to real life without some time ratio (it takes a week to build a casino in cc, how long does it take in rl?).

inflation is fine. As long as you have inflate equally and balanced. For instance, do you know of any new players to follow the in game normal quests? If you can get a 2k/3k unit easily by doing ltq or sltq, why you wast your time and energy for a prime 30/40 unit? The social inflation is inflation for everything, food, house, income, etc.

Um, you are crazy. A growth target based on REAL OUTPUT growth. Not random paper chasing money. Your time element is out of whack too. Show me your PhD or MS pal and then we can have a serious discussion. Else you are just a typical talk not walk wanna be economist.

Are "you are crazy" and "out of whack" your best arguments?
Usually those who have nothing to say descend to plain insults. Quite pathetic really.
I think we're done here.

I have a question to all of this.. keep in mind I'm fairly new to the game. It was said earlier that the stat inflation in Crime City killed the store items, defense buildings, and respect points, so wouldn't new store items with decent prices be a good thing?

Yep, because you provided no real argument. Inflation is bad 98% of the time. Here it is clearly bad.

Getting back to the original topic ... do you think we will see another dramatic increase in stats in the near future?

There was a major shift 15 months ago when syndicates started, and another increase 8 months ago (with many more events, prize stats, and modifiers) when BigMoney left in protest. So we may be due for another shakedown. Perhaps overpowered RP items will allow people to double their stats in one week. Perhaps they will increase prize stats another 10-20 times.
