I had not realised that you only get 1? thats a real shame! as was hopping to get some bigguns to come and help once they have done theirs? they could always help and get stats up with lots of free Rewards!
and if other factions have got as far as they can, their top guns could still join us to get prize.

Regardless of the rewards you will find that most at the top are willing to help (even the big bad empire known as sup)

There is virtually no reason to farm units for most in the top 10 and 25 so if they have the free time they can jump around to help friends.
