Crime City takes up too much memory on m. phone

Crime city takes up just under a gigabyte of space on my phone. it takes up so much space I have had to begin uninstalling other aps to keep it. And crime city continues to grow taking up more space. I cannot transfer it to theemory card. This phone will not move aps that way.

Is anyone else having this problem? is there a solution?

Yes go to your app settings and clear the cache for crime city. Don't worry you don't lose anything and it will appear after it updates.

Crime city had a size of 4 gigabyte on my ipad, deleted the app reinstalled and now its 248 megabyte.

Nope after reinstall i had my account back, but to get the new data set on CC i had to restart it a couple of times.

When i open crime city under settings i have a clear cache button and a clear data button. What will happen if the clear data burton ia pressed?

It will clear the data. Log back into cc and wait for the update.

When you deleted one app at ipad, uually they ask if we want to keep the data or remove it? So i just click keep it and reinstall? Is that it?

doesn't matter since the game it tied to the device.. i delete app all the time and reinstall. First few loads takes a bit of time as hood art buildings etc are downloaded again

Clearing the data was the solution. It went from over 900 Mb to 50Mb. And started up just fine. I don't know what was in all the data I cleared but everything seems to be there.

It lagging on Android. ... S4-S5 doesn't matter. Droid programming sucks. Clash of clans flying.

I have Iphone 5 and CC is taking up 4.5 G of space. I think it is from robbing others hoods. If i delete app, then reinstall, my game stats will not be altered at all? I'm very nervous because I have been working on my game for over a year.

Doesn't always work tho so be careful.
When I updated my iPad a few months back to ios 7.0.6 I think it was.
I wiped it and updated but reinstalled and opening CC I had a level 1 hood. Took Greed almost a week
To get it back and lost loads of stuff was half way through LTQ,LTB and lockbox events
