adding a bonus during war?

Hi all, my faction is saving for a bonus, but not sure if we will have all the cash by war start?, does anyone know, are these locked like players in factions during the war?, if so we cannot buy bonus until after the war, or can we keep saving and purchase it as soon as we have the cash during the war.

No, you can purchase bonuses during a WD event.
