So we get a 1% stackable melee attack modifier per upgrade on the Chop Shop.

So does that mean:

1) each one is 1%, so at the end it will be 10%, or

2) each one is 1% compounded, so at the end it will look like this:

1*1.01*1.01*1.01*1.01*1.01*1.01*1.01*1.01*1.01*1.0 1*1.01*1.01*1.01

and be a total of 11.38%?

How would you know the difference?

How would you know the difference?

Basically, look at your melee modifier before the event, after you've gotten to level X, your modifier should be up by X%

There's only a two modifiers that actually stack. As far as i know they are as follows:

Building Upgrade Cost
Building Upgrade Time

All other modifiers are accumulate.

Correct me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure thats the case

Bill, that sounds right.

Anything atk/def is usually additive. (5% + 5% = 10%)

Buildings time/cost mods "stack" (which is a bad thing.)
To elaborate, if you have two -30% upgrade cost mods, the percentage decreased is 51% opposed to 60%.

More specifically, the first 30% reduces the cost. Then the second 30% comes in and reduces the amount that was deduced from the first.

Hope that's understandable.

You're right. And the reason for that is that building mods are negative, and cannot get higher than 100%.
