Thank you very much for keeping the info coming. I am confused about something though. The globe has the event running from the 8th through the 13th. 8,9,10,11,12,13 by my count that is 6 days however you list 7 faction daily prizes. Will the event be 6 days or 7?

Also what are the goals required to get each faction goal and the wrapper prize? Are they the same as always? Lastly it would be nice to get a list of the reward possibilities for killing each individual boss. Thanks!

It's probably like past epic bosses. You have 5 days for the faction to meet certain goals and 7 days for individuals to beat boss 100 to get the wrapper prize.

No, there are also 7 days of faction goals so you can get the faction prize (khan's tank) 7 times, so a total of +21% building output if you can meet the goal 7 days in a row.

No, from 3.8 xx:xx to 3.13 xx:xx you got 120 hrs. So it will only be 15% money boosts to be gained.

Any thought given by the developers to flipping the faction goal requirements so day one has 500 kills and day 5 has 300? Also, about making the goals run back to back rather than waiting 24hrs between goals?

Try 7 faction events in 5 days. It doesn't have to be Day1, Day2… they can run back to back just as a FLTQ moves to the next event. I hope this is true. If not, they will edit the original and there will only be 5 prizes. The real question will be whether or not you need 5 or 7 faction prizes to get the wrapper.

That would be 5 days sir, starting and ending at either 3 or 5pm EST, like it has been for the last 3 or 4 bosses, i think it would be pretty safe to say it will only last 5 days with 5 faction prizes. Unless they run the FLTQs one after the other, like as soon as ones finished the other one starts (someone else posted that).

I'm thinking it might show the 14th because you live in Europe? if your event usually starts at 7-11pm, and say Gree adds 5 hours onto the timer due to the downtime then it would end at 12-4am for you. making it last onto the 6th day but still only 5 full days taking out the downtime. hope that makes sense. Mine still shows 8th-13th

Bosses are harder to call as well, this will make it much more difficult for faction to reach first objective let alone second.

Both the day 5 faction event and the 100 bosses have to be completed by that time and date. The posts in this thread by mods indicate that this is a 7 day event, then corrected to 6 days. Players attempting to complete 100 bosses either have to plan for 5 days or for 6. There is a big difference in the bosses required each day. Please post a definitive answer that cannot be misinterpreted. No answer would be a horrible mistake. As some players will assume it is 6 days based on mod posts and would be incredibly angry if the event ended abruptly after 5 days. Thank you.

Is there a trick to getting all 100 boss kills? The most i have ever got was 33

What would be very nice for gree to do would be to run these faction kills back to back. Finish one goal and move on to next..give the opportunity for the guys on the off shifts to get all there kills in instead of waiting 10 hours for boss to re appear. With these stat increases of boss health run them back to back please. Faction goal finished and have to wait 10-12 hours for next one to appear. Does not have to be day1 and day2. Just make it 1/5 or 1/7. Dam make it 7 levels but only 5 days to do.....thanks

Wow. Challenging for end game players??? So after you pump all this money into reaching high stats. They tell you that we are making it challenging. Meaning we want you to spend multiple vaults to finish all the 100 bosses???? You keep changing the structure of the events on a weekly bases. You don't listen to you players and your developers seem to do only what suits your company. The reason that players pump thousand of dollars into a game is so they can benefit from it. Now when somebody does pump "real"money into the game you guys punish them by raising the Boss Health to an insane level. I can do more on my Llp where I didn't put any gold into compared to my level 280 account where I did spend thousands of dollars and now I feel punished for it. ALL you did is make my decision easier to quit putting money into this Game. And I am not sure you truly understand our frustration. Because this is ridiculous what you are doing to your loyal players!!!

I agreed for a long time on changing the tier structure, but that doesn't mean you have to make the Boss Health insanely high.

How can you make the level 300 boss level nearly impossible to beat and do so after stating previously that there would not be a separate tier just for level 300 players. Way to alienate a substantial portion of your most dedicated, long term and spending players. If we just consider Lvl 100 is insane then if we look at the cumulative health of Boss from lvl1 to lvl100 then it is mind boggling. I am at Lvl 251-299 and it would require at least 10-12 vaults of Gold to complete Epic Boss event. Definitely, I am not going go for this considering the amount of gold required to complete this event. This is absolutely ridiculous.

But instead of taking the 50th percentile and using that health to multiply times hits to create the boss health, they actually took each progressively more rarified percentile and multiplied. So not only were the projected # of hits going up, they were basing hits on a better player.

If they had done what they planned and used the 50th percentile (I'm guessing 50, pick whatever you think they would have), then level 251-299 tier would have been ~2.19B health. Still a lot - but 61 hits for the median 36M player at that level.

CJ that's great, but can you please respond here on boss Heath? I don't have the time to trawl lots of other threads to find the answer as to why you have made boss health so ridiculously hard versus last time?

To be honest, we're quite split about that over here. In total fairness, level 300 (when looking at the actual power levels) does not look anything like level 299. I'm not saying that the extreme difference is warranted, but *a* difference isn't necessarily unwarranted given the actual numbers. I know how it appears, though.

CJ seriously, it's not just about level 300, it's increase across the board. I'm a lev 106 with 16m attack which is pretty good for my level. It would take 400 gold just to do lev 100. And well over a vault if not 2 to do the whole event. "In total fairness" how do you justify that increase over the previous bosses? And if it's just going to go up from here in future Elite Boss events, then you've lost my business.

Thank you for the response. Interesting how on this one you're not reversing the decision because in your view it would be unfair to people that have spent gold already, but when there was an error the other way in the last 200 lev boss event, you did reverse it and delete kills from people that hadn't completed it forcing those of us that didn't take advantage of the failure to have to use gold then.

I appreciate the direct responses CJ, but the high number of mistakes/glitches, inconsistent treatment and ridiculous boss health this time around is turning me right off the game.

It is still a tier or class of one level only. L299 is instead balanced out with 48 other levels. If you want to do one level tiers, then have 295 tiers. Every tier is some kind of average damage and boss 100 is at least 40 hits at that damage. So most have to buy refills. I get that's not feasible. So the result is we don't single out one level. I suspect if you analyzed each specific level you would find more than one instance of a particular level being substantially more powerful than the level -1. Just by probabilities. I'm sure of it. I know L300 is imbalanced by S1, S2, and OSW as factions. If it is this hard to deal with, then let's move to a raw attack basis for gauging this. U can't compare months of 20% bonuses on top of top 10 with months of top ten only.

As an active, spending, top level player, all I want is that I have a reasonably similar outlay required as my direct competitors. This focus on level destroys that. Most in the top 4-15ish are not 300s but 251-299. I know that is a fact from WD :-). They are also getting hammered with a tough boss...but I wouldn't mind facing the same with equal chance as them to finish. I do mind being singled out as a level and asked to spend 4-5x as much to finish due to the progression of health and the max health for 300s (I mind so much I won't do it, period).

Edit: To sum, you won't hear me complain too much because the boss is tough...if it's similarly tough for all. Here it is not.

CJ54. It seems like you are somehow trying to justify this change in Health increase. First you guys changed the event from a 7 day to a 6 day. Oh wait, to a 5 day event. Than it has gotten harder to trigger the boss event to compared to all the other times. Than you add new tiers and inflate the Boss health to another insane level. And than you are trying to tell us due to a small difference between Lvl 299 & 300 you add another Tier just for the most loyal players and increase their boss health so they have to spend a vault on "just" Lvl 100. (assuming their attack is 40-50mil). I don't know if the developers are trying to recuperate Gree's losses in one Event. But this is absurd. I work at one of the biggest three refineries in the world and work in the business sector. With all my education and experience I really don't understand how anybody can justify these extreme changes to your Game. I play this game to escape the reality and I enjoy the people in my faction. I don't have a problem paying for game to be competitive, but this is absurd. Especially after all the glitches that have been deployed you push this new Boss Health agenda. "Come on " start listening to your players and make money in an honest way. Cheers!!!! 

That one wasn't Tardavic, that was a general communication breakdown between departments mixed with some last-minute confusion. We apologize for that, and the people involved in that communication breakdown have spoken about this to avoid having it happen again.

EDIT: I'll mention something in the separate boss health threads about the boss balance.

- You guys have got to stop using in-game chat to communicate! In all seriousness though, the boss event used to be my favorite event. When I entered a new tier, I knew how hard it was and worked hard through events and wars to develop my acct to take out the boss using cash hits. The first few rounds would require a lot of gold but eventually, a few months and 20-25 levels, I would reach my goal. That was only possible because the boss health was stable event after event. Now, with stats inflation, the developers created a situation where they must continue to increase the boss health EVERY epic boss event. The end goal has become an unpredictable moving target and has eliminated the fun of acct development. Add in all the glitches and the boss event is another event that will become a self-inflicted wound for the developers and another mindless stats race event that will burn out long-time faithful customers. I hope the developers would reconsider their recent approach to this event.

More challenging for level 300s... Insane. Im maybe over average but way behind the top 100 or so level 300s at 95 million attack and would spend a few vaults to complete 100 bosses but based on the boss health data i would need to spend more than 15 vaults. Clearly this is a mistake by your developers.

The problem you, gree, will face by not fixing / adjusting the level 300 boss health fir this event, is that you are disabling the level 300s ability to grow and stay competitive against lower level players - to get the exact same rewards we are being asked to pay insane amounts of money - way above the average stat percentage between level 300 and lower band. It is discrimination and it will affect the appetite of level 300 players to continue plowing their money into your company.

As speed ump and other serious level 300 heavyweights have stated - no one is "powering" through this at level 300 - and there will be no issue if you fix this obvious miscalculation - i suggest you do this now before gree revenues drop further.

True; there are many very strong members up there, but imagine the more weaker players as well. They may can get to boss 15 or 20?? This is just ridiculous.

For my self i can be glad to be less then lvl200..

As others have pointed out, it's not just the lv300 guys getting screwed on this one. I'm in the 251-299 zone, and I'm well above average and it would take me something like 360 cash hits on boss 100...seriously? 360 hits, that's 3 hits a minute for the entire two hours...lol. This morning I received a splash screen quoting, kill commander khan 85 times to receive the L300 Prototype Troop, stats posted, everything... Is this true? I REALLY REALLY wish I took a screenshot of it... It would be a fair lvl to drop it to considering the outrageous hp levels and TWO days cut off the event.... Speaking from the 75-100 bracket, it has not changed as of boss lvl 84.. I stopped progress days ago waiting for Gree to correct themselves. They ADMITTED making a mistake on the event. Then they made the decision for a 5 day event, and to LIGHTEN the FACTION requirements, which was fair in their eyes. Yet the INDIVIDUAL side of the event, remains ADMITTEDLY BROKEN. They DID NOT lighten the requirements, but laughably, INCREASED THE DIFFICULTY EVEN MORE, by making this event 5 days as well. Does it not make sense to nerf both sides equally? How can they justify one being fair and the other not?

Gree we have put up with much, but this is down right unethical. If it weren't for the good folks in my faction, I would be gone. If this pattern is continued, I can happily visit my faction any time from another game. I haven't had fun IN GAME in weeks here. The only fun I have been having is in faction chat. This is sad for a game with your resources and potential. Honor your playerbase!

Funzio created the game FOR us to enjoy, Gree it is clear you have BOUGHT it from us for your profit, you care none for your players. Your success is gauged by the amount of yen that makes it back to japan. Sure close your japan office, we still know where the money is going.

It was a design choice based on metrics from the last couple of events, to my understanding (what I mean by that is, how are people doing as a whole in the existing tiers at actually plowing through the bosses.). Most difficulty tweaks are due to similar.

The curve on this one may have broken down at the higher levels, though, if going by averages. We're not going to adjust it for this event because it would be unfair to the people who have already spent gold and time on it, but it's in heavy discussion at the moment in regards to future events.

Well looks like you have been misinforming us... Once again the Tardavic numbers are wrong looks like there is a cap on health for L251-299 at ~2.225bn and L300 at ~2.55bn.

So I guess either CJ or Tardavic must have mislead us.
