Ohhhh - well I usually use gold on these units but seeing as I spent too much last war I am trying to free play... I ended up spending 45 gold though. My progress has been pretty crap. Today (I obviously spent no gold) it went something like this:

1) Fail
2) Fail
3) Fail
4) Fail
5) Fail
6) Air Blitz Unit
7) Fail
8) Fail
9) Fail

It's been a crap day. I'm 7/10 on the cards 5/8 on the units since the beginning of the game.

Hey quick question: do you always play cash only for crate events or do you sometimes use gold? If you always (or almost always) play with little to no cash I was just wondering if you regularly find yourself doing as well as you have for this event? Just a little curious... Obviously you don't have to answer if you don't feel comfortable. Thanks! : )

LOL I started using free hits 2 crates opened 1 card and 1 bat suit guy....

dont matter what we do..if we use gold or not if we are programmed to get it u will get it..i have only used cash opens on all 10 crate events except 1 and it cost me 2 vaults and i still didnt get the unit..it was the next gen crusirer +1 (it was when +1 actaully helped us now it dont..u need +45 or 50 to make a dent) and with all other 10 crates i have used all cash opens and got the units so go figure lol i open ever hour on the hour non stop till event ends..im on 9.10 here and completed the collect 8/8..i went thur all day yesterday and didnt get nothing but sorry u suck so either today or tomorrow i exspect to get it for all cash opens..i will keep u all updated if i get it or not,but evertime i make it to 9/10 b4 there are more then 2 days left in event i get it and i been on 9/10 since the start of the 2nd day that this event come live

-10 boxes only used 4 resets of $15 gold = 60
-8 units only used about $120 gold to get the last 2 i was missing.
Total= Lots of cash tries and $180 gold.

realistically as a free player, you have 2 days worth of cards/prizes as 3 days worth of time just gets you "sorry". No need to track who got what because the lucky win at this event. I'm very fortunate to get the 8/8 prize but am stuck on 9/10.

I agree. I got to 8/10 by day 2 and with 2 hours left I'm in the same spot. all cash opens and using a timer to remind myself to open as many as I can. I wont finish the items either despite having 6 of the Elite Hind Mk IV's. I know I have more duplicates but this inventory is too time consuming to go through. The sad thing is, I would use gold if I thought I had a realistic chance of finishing. Guess I'll take myself out to dinner instead.
