No this isn't a joke or troll thread.

Try the following steps

(1) attack or rob a rival and wait 30 seconds

(2) if the boss hasn't been summoned exit the game and try again.

If that doesn't work then try....

(1) do a job

(2) same as above

If that still doesn't work then try

(1) attacking a rival 5 times

(2) same as above

or

(1) Do two jobs

(2) same as above

or

(1) attack a rival 10 times

(2) same as above.

Try force closing your game and / or switching your phone off as well.

Sorry but that's the best advice I can offer if you want to summon more bosses.

lol, after trolling all night did you sober up enough to pretend to be helpful... jk... i have trolled here enough too i guess, but yeah this is basically what i have been doing for the past few hours, it has SLIGHTLY increased my summoning rate, up from 3/hr to maybe 6/hr, definitely not back to the normal 1/2min30sec like it has always been

1) Go to your hood and sit there for 30 sec
2) Go to canal street and hit carmen 3 times fast
3) open rival list and hit refresh

This works maybe 50% of the times for me. If it dosent work a few times in a row I go and do one attack and robb one building and the boss often appear. So friggin random I'm lost for words.

What's the purpose of this event? Triggering the boss of killing it! What a giant waste of time ...

The purpose of any "event" is to complete it. What completing an event does for each individual's own mentality/ego, is beyond me. I would imagine it's this false sense of accomplishment intertwined with some silly perception of competition.

It's like handing your money to Bernie Madoff & thinking it's going to get you anywhere in 12 months. LoL

Why change things that work, but leave the broken parts alone. Triggering the boss should not be hard!
