Haha, this is a lie and makes 0 sense. It's to get you to spend more gems because you have less time. Who needs a buffer in a game that the majority of the time you only play for 5-10 min at a time?

EB is/was already getting to be too easy. Need more of a challenge with less days.

And, yes. A way to suck some extra gems out.

Ah, you retired, so you missed that they recently already bumped up the boss stats by 15%...
That already dropped those going for level 60 with 1 epic and 2 elementally correct boss+ armors back to 51.
So level 60 was already turned back into the "challenge" of having 3 elementally right epics.

@Elita: spacing out starts of war, boss and arena giving the illusion of more going on in KnD?

They should have 1 day arenas and 4 hr guild wars. Make it so it is started in American time zones.

im using 3 fire based epics and I dont think im going to hit 60 and im fighting relentlessly, guess its gettin close to saying farewell. Its like having to drive but all roads are toll roads!!!

Im a sentinel and just got beat at lvl 43 with the following line up forgestone, blaze(me), blaze, aegis(friend), and blaze (friend)
