The 1,200 win unit appears to have no bonus. Is this correct Gree? Stat-wise, it is worse than a legendary unit from two-raid bosses ago. What gives?

Confirmed... No bonus. Pretty lame on Gree's part, considering how many gems it takes to get it.

I saw that the 56 win (in a row?) unit is a goblin with 5% fewer casualties... is there anyone who could potentially win this unit who has a less-than-indestructible army?

Sure. a brand new player with lots of gems; able to tap fast, and that doesn't go to sleep.

Ech, a data accident caused the item bonus to be added to an older similarly-named item. We're re-adding the bonus to the correct item next data deploy.

Wow. I decided not to go for the 1200 wins because the last unit had no bonus. I instead used those Gems to help my guild best I could by volunteering to take the GG & Wall of the opposing guild for every single War from Saturday through the end of War.

This is exactly the reason why we are asking for ALL rewards to be posted by GREE prior to war. Many players opted NOT to go for this reward as word spread that it did not have a bonus. I'm not going to b1tch about it being "changed" but I only ask that GREE post ALL rewards for war going forward.

Welp, congrats. I did not bother aiming for 1200 wins as it was reported from multiple, believable sources that there was no bonus attached to it. Now we find out post-war that there was actually a bonus meant to go on it. Guess I should have gone for it then. As Shag said, definitely need those lists posted before war so that we can make decisions beforehand.

i stopped going for the quest because their was no boost as well. very annoying that we were not told their was a boost until the war was almost over...

This is absolute crap. I guess i shouldn't complain because actually this error cost gree $ since i decided not worth it.

CJ/SnapOpera/GREE,
Can we expect a full list of the upcoming wars rewards to be posted prior to war? This would include the streak rewards, 50 wins reward, and individual reward (and wins needed) as well as the bonuses attached to each.
