What Makes Kingdom Age great ?

So many threads have been dedicated to pointing out the flaws or players leaving.

So I ask the community, what makes KA great?

For me, it is the people that I have met.
The chance to participate in a guild, set a goal and accomplish it.
To have fun.

I agree. I have met people from Australia, Europe, Asia, and North America. I have not met anyone from South America yet, but I know they are out there.

The people of course. The game brought my guildmates to my side. The game is one by one pushing them away. We will all tire of this game sooner or later (though there are a lot more sooners than there used to be). But I will never tire of my fellow Crows, current and retired.

The guildmates most,the jumping to help other guilds and the payback you get from them, fun to win wars and the bonus units you get and others not, the sucessfull raiding and donating to get guild bonus, the scratcher units if you have luck, a lot of little things.
If not i would have stopped playing as there are a lot of boaring things with GREE glitches and GREE support.

well ive been in the game about a year now and I loved the way it was in the beginning. The stat flux has really gotten out of hand and weapons and armor aren't available while everything keeps getting more difficult.
I love the battling style, the wars, and my guild. Some of the events used to be really fun. holding onto memories of what it used to be though.....

The only thing that keeps me playing this game is the people. If my guildmates and other connections were boring, I would have quit long ago.

I love my people and the game is great. Regardless of criticism about Gree, they have done a lot to increase the playability of the game and generate increased interest. They have also created a wide variety of events with interesting twist. Some hate this because they can't always get the top unit, but to me the game is about doing the best with the resources you have.

Let's face it before the switch to guilds and the higher stat items, the best way to play this game was to camp, collect your money a few times a day, and hope you didn't get raided too much. Now there is much more activity and things to do. It didn't seem fair that the people who played freely could out muscle those who paid money for the game.

The value. You can earn good units usually for under $1000 each. That means you can achieve a top level character for under a million$$ RL which is quite a good deal for an iOS game.

LOL, Samskill, Good article but what is GREEs self imposed restriction on individual spending? $10,000 per month lol? not much of a restriction.

I would have to say What made this game Great was meeting new people and making friends all over the world, most people i have known for quiet some time and still talk to them on a regular basis.

Their self imposed restriction is probably to limits the no. Of wars to twice a month instead of 4! :p
