Matchup problems

Once again, everything that Gree touches seems to turn to excrement. The new "improved" matchup algorithm is constantly yielding gross mismatches. About half of TAW's matches have been against small syndicates outside of top 250, including one against a four man team outside the top 4000. While we are frustrated that we can't score big ip against these teams, I wonder how upset the tiny streak teams that have matched with us must feel. Oh, and matchup waiting times are as bad as ever. Keep up the good work, Gree!

Our last 2 match ups were with teams that had over 2x our event points.. We decided to try for streaks this time, instead of flat rank. Its not near as entertaining and the match ups aren't close lol.

Keep up the good work, Gree!im so sick of this.... Match ups take a lot longer because of all the declare rooms and syns avoiding other syns!!! THIS is the ONE thing that ISNT grees fault. ITS all the TEAMS avoiding each other's fault. I personally have no problem with this strategy but stop blaming gree for it.

The matchups are stupid, how can a top 10 team be getting matched with a team that isn't even ranked in the top 4000.

So far for us there has been an improvement in match ups. Would be keen to hear if anyone else thinks the new match up system is better

The guilds avoiding each other thing definitely has an impact. That, and the power curve of the top few guilds being SO far beyond everyone else makes it tricky to balance.

That said, we tightened up a few of the new parameters this morning - top tier guilds getting matched vs 4 man guilds or anything like that should be far less likely / close to impossible now. Match speeds should also be somewhat faster at the higher end.

I have to say the new battle match ups are so bad for us we have stopped trying all together. How can we fight against players who have 25m defence when all we have is 14m attack. Or better yet get paired up with a team of minis that are all lvl 60 with 12m defence. Our new battle strategy is to go for consecutive losses, I have been getting upset with the game for a while with all the issues and now ruined one of my favorite events thanks. Bonus to all this I no longer need to buy gold so this will be a very cheap weekend. Good luck to everyone.

Problem still not solved. We were matched against syndicates that have 10 times the points we do and no way near strength match. It seems to happen when on the last win for a streak.

Matchups are still screwed up ! Also battled same team now for a second time. Nothing has been fixed in battles other than hideouts stronger to use gold. Nice strategy gree to make players spend more. No working with me.. Nothing is fixed unless it's a benefit to gree not the players.
