Note:

This is not a standard Epic Boss. Its simply 200 Lvl 10 Bosses that you need to defeat in order to get the grand prize.

Every 10 Bosses you get a new Boss (not really but the name of the goals changes)

Its my Belief that the event was supposed to go as follows:

First 1/20; 2/20; 3/20; 4/20; 5/20 Boss:
Lvl 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/80/90/100

The boss would have been increasingly more difficult in this format but the good news is this should be a 1 time thing (since they formatted it based on all the old bosses)

Edit: Okay apparently after running the event in this format Gree decided to change the event to how it was supposed to run. I'll keep running it as far as i can for everyon so they get an idea of what its going to look like. I won't run it like a typical loot tracker for obvious reasons (data pool will be small) but i figure this should help everyone that got screwed a little bit.

Its also my belief that anyone who had their goals reset or completed X amount of bosses but now have to play catch up in kills in order for their kills to count should send in a ticket (not that it will matter). Note not saying if you only got 100 kills you should send in a ticket....only saying if your goals were reset or your current kills are not adding to the goals.

Cash Hits Cost:
1-25= 400 + (100* boss lvl)
25-50= 800 + (200* boss lvl)
51-75= 1200 + (300*boss lvl)
76-100= 2000+ (500* boss lvl)
101-150= 4000+ (1000 * boss lvl)
151-250= 6000+ (1500 * boss lvl)
*Each Boss pays you 2x the Cash hit cost when you defeat

For XP Gained Each lvl is: 1+ (1*lvl)
Every Prize also gives XP (Prize # *5XP)

Note if you lvl up while in the process of battling a boss then you will get full health in the process. If you can, try to time your lvl up when you would need to use a medpack and you can save yourself 20 gold.

New Update: If you trigger a boss with less than 2 hours remaining you are still given the opportunity to defeat him in those 2 hours even if the event itself finishes before that 2 hours. (please dont' rely on this as there were reports of not getting the final reward last time)

It's an absolute joke to have 2, I'm presuming Axis of Evil will be one, big LTQ's in a row that require a heap of gold

It better not. I only have just over 1k energy and with another LtQ, im never going to make it to the end of Prestige cuz it keeps raising the amount of energy required to hit every LTQ

Exactly, it could be 3 3-5k gold LTQ's in a row. If this keeps going, this game will become unplayable next cycle. 99% sure Axis of Evil is now an LTQ, unless gree are being kind to us and giving us a 6/7 day head start for this 24hr LTQ and I'm 99% sure gree will not do and will never do this

Going to go out on a Limb and say this event is going to be an Epic Boss.

I'll be away when the event goes live but wanted to get the thread Ready (AGAIN ITS NOT CURRENTLY LIVE it should go live Noon PST...but that's just based on past experience)

Pretty confident lol I hope your guess (as mine) is correct. However the new NPCs and the new units with alliance attack, health regen, and energy bonus cast some doubt for me...never know.

Also last two cycles events are 2 PM pacific.

Disorganized gree decided to throw an EB and LTQ together, probably within 2/3 days, simple as. This is awful, and you'll probably need lvl 10 unit buildings. What the hell have they done. Gets from bad to worse

Or maybe instead of crying about it and blaming Gree you will look at yourself. Maybe if you spent some time upgrading those buildings instead of only upgrading your iph building you'd be fine. C'mon you know what I'm talking about. Those buildings that you decided had no use and therefore why spend my time and in-game money on them. Instead of blaming Gree you can adjust your strategy and be prepared in the future like so many other people.

I have no problem blaming Gree on something that is their mistake but I see no point in blaming others for you own mistakes. Just think about it. I'm not trying to be mean here.

I've had an account at level 198, with all unit buildings at at least level 8. I have another account at level 57 where I only own 1 unit building. Guess which of my accounts has higher attack and defense? The low level account with barely any unit buildings.

I'll fight through the LTQ with my high level player and ignore it with my low level player. While defeating a lot more bosses with my LLP and remaining stronger.

Unit buildings are a joke. At least until Gree does an LTQ with "original" NPCs that all the high level players already have prestaged. But since a lot of high level players have them prestaged, that means less gold. So basically unit buildings are worthless nowadays.

Well I was away yesterday and i'll start to update. I'm not going to lie if this is the new format for the boss I'm not enjoying it. Its kill so many more bosses and frankly I don't care to keep track of my loot over and over and over again for a lvl 10 boss that I beat.

Stop for a minute and calculate how much time this is taking....its a 5 day or 120 hour event. Lots of my guys taking 8-12 hours to complete. And thats w the Gree mess up on being boss 10 all event. Imagine how long to defeat if it was normal boss whole way through!

This will be the final nail for many IMO....just isn't worth the time combined with all the BS that you have to put up with.

Yes Gree there are people quitting over this and LTQ glitch with no answer. We asked for better communication and we get this. Nice.

I hear you man. I'm hearing about all sorts of glitch with this event (for both the LTQ and boss portion)

1) No it doesn't work as its supposed to I imagine. I assume they wanted us to beat each of the 20 bosses (boss 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100) which would have been a chore and a bore. If it had been that I would have stopped already.

2) Depends I suppose. Bonuses of stats that just keep going up? Energy regen at least in theory does something (although then again it will be obsolete in the sense that they will just increase the cost of next event by 100k (sort of like increasing your stats and then having a more difficult time on the raid/epic boss) Those that are crazy enough to finish both events will get some great bonuses...they just need to take out a mortgage to finish.

3) I heard the brief version. Why they are singling out lvl 300 I have no idea? I've argued for more boss tiers but make them relatively equal and easy. To hear that a lvl 300 has boss 10's with 70 million health is absurd (although for how long it takes me to summon it wouldn't make any difference)

Typically its lvl 5 and on a couple of occasions its been lvl 10.

Think of how many sub 100 level players have their unit buildings that high? Maybe .01%. Those guys are done after their first 2000 energy is burnt through level 7. Then they are doing no event for the next 4 days.
There's no need for you to be upset. You didn't think ahead when you made your upgrade decisions in the beginning. Me on the other hand, I guess I thought ahead when I was working on my hlp And all my unit buildings were upgraded close to lvl 10's. This was before we had factions and big unit drops. So it was important at that time to have those buildings upgraded. Now that we're getting such high units from events, some people think there's absolutly no point to those unit buildings. I guess those people are seeing that those buildings are worth it. Like I said there's no need to be upset. :(

I see that. I assumed since it ran its course for 36 hours they would end up just keeping it the way it was. At first i didn't bother with the event as i figured it was screwed up and was just waiting until they fixed it. Then i started to move forward with it and then they screw everyone over (luckily i was far enough into the event and wasn't reset that going up didn't really matter that much for me but its still horrible to see)

Sorry Dansgek i had it set up for a Loot tracker and was ready to track the progress but the first 36 hours it was nothing but lvl 10 bosses so there was nothing to track but the Loot (not individual but progress loot) Much of the info was gathered by others and i went through and verified as it was going through. A complete detailed breakdown of that is on the second post. (more detailed than most want but it includes everything)

I completed this mission this morning as I was checking here for the stats of my new inventory items, after completeion I searched my air inventory and didn't see it....maybe its a phantom prize or the trans oil heli is in the water, infantry or sea inventory sections.

Still on boss 60 with 1 free hit on mini... After every new boss the health resets to lvl 1 and goes through lvl 10 then new boss health resets again

Got to boss 79 with one free hit, 99 cash hit had little health left, but than 100-105 or when it reset to new boss I can kill them in one cash hit... Hard to track this time I may do a few updates for thoses that are curious. I already completed 200 bosses in first 15hrs doing again but loot is not so good. Raid boss loot is excellent. It was same for rare thoses 1000 units I had like 14% chance in the level 90s than when I hit 100 it goes back to 1% but the lowest branch of loot is gone (91/120?) chance goes up slowly.. Think boss 112 is around 4% chance of getting 1000 unit.

I believe that over 95% of players were able to keep their kills without them being reset. (only basis is on the numbers of players that i know have been screwed over vs. not screwed over) In the grand scheme of things im on boss 160 and its not difficult just time consuming.

Yes somehow I got lucky enough to keep most of mine, I was actually somewhere in the mid 80's before the fix happened.

Damn, I was very unlucky then. Got approx 115 kills taken away :( And theories that are that when U where online it didnt take away are wrong. I was online during that time :( Killed bosses till 4AM, went to bed. Woke up 8AM, saw new bosses came, but kill count didnt move up...restarted the app and...poof, previous kills gone :(

I got online and was in the process of summoning a boss when the new data available popped up. I hit ignore finished the boss(it was lvl 11 because I went from cash+free to a one shot) then closed the game. I don't know when I lost the 20ish kills because I had to get ready for work and drive the hour commute.

I believe this epic boss event puts MW game under the domination of turtles. Turtle players deliberately do everything they can to limit their own level growth. But because their atk-to-faction ratio is high, they do extremely well on epic boss events. This one especially.

Active non-gold players going forward enjoying the game are toasted.

And i wonder if intensive gold users are not robbed with this.

Is MW's fate to end up with turtle winners ? If so, this game is dead.

I think the take always were if you let a boss get away then it reset. That happen to me long after 120ish bosses after the first day. Long before they "fixed" the event. I don't know if now that it's fixed if it's ok to let a boss get away but I'm not risking it.

Yea i went ahead and did the 200 bosses the way they were supposed to be done (on 199 right now) so that anyone who was reset could have an idea...granted the numbers seem to be about 5x that for lvl 300 players...and i have no data for lower level players but in the grand scheme of things its very easy just time consuming as anything.

I have a level 36 in MW.I sent a ticket to gree asking why i had not received the bonus units for completing 200 boss kils. i was informed that in order to qualify for the event i had to be level 40. i have never seen any information from Gree to justify this response.

I am guessing it is the for the same reason many with LLPs never saw the Axis of Evil LTQ. The boss event and LTQ are tied together in the Event: Axis of Evil. In order to do the LTQ, you have to be of a level high enough to have all basic unit buildings, and that would be level 40. Since you can not do the LTQ, I guess you can't get credit for the boss half of the event

Forget trying to keep track of which boss you are on by name. I have 1 Tier 5, 1 Tier 4 and 1 Tier 3 player - all on the same level of the boss event. All are supposed to be killing Pran, but none of the 3 are actually fighting Pran. The tier 5 is on Hard Case, the tier 4 is fighting Isis and the tier 3 just finished Shenk. All the prizes are being awarded correctly for each level completed, but the type of boss that spawns is random, and within one grouping of bosses (defeat ______ 10 times) I have seen more than 2 different bosses before the level is complete.

I did with about 50 kills before hitting 40 the other day.. Just be prepared for a ton of xp to go along with it.

Note:

This is not a standard Epic Boss. Its simply 200 Lvl 10 Bosses that you need to defeat in order to get the grand prize.

Every 10 Bosses you get a new Boss (not really but the name of the goals changes)

Its my Belief that the event was supposed to go as follows:

First 1/20; 2/20; 3/20; 4/20; 5/20 Boss:
Lvl 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/80/90/100

The boss would have been increasingly more difficult in this format but the good news is this should be a 1 time thing (since they formatted it based on all the old bosses)

Edit: Okay apparently after running the event in this format Gree decided to change the event to how it was supposed to run. I'll keep running it as far as i can for everyon so they get an idea of what its going to look like. I won't run it like a typical loot tracker for obvious reasons (data pool will be small) but i figure this should help everyone that got screwed a little bit.

Its also my belief that anyone who had their goals reset or completed X amount of bosses but now have to play catch up in kills in order for their kills to count should send in a ticket (not that it will matter). Note not saying if you only got 100 kills you should send in a ticket....only saying if your goals were reset or your current kills are not adding to the goals.

it has been like that for last several bosses, that even the boss ends when event ends. Some months ago it was possible to go to overtime with boss, but U wouldnt get a wrapper prize, only loot.
