well the new anticipated update is here and it appears to be just gem packs o.O

2000 gems for $200 USD

20 gems and 15000 gold for $1 USD



or you can just wait til the next 40% off sale and get 2400 gems for $180 USD

40% off of $99.99 does make it $60

But 40% off of 199.99 makes $120

Assuming they even have a 40% off sale.

For all we know, instead of having sales now, they'll just push this promotional pack whenever they would've originally had the sale.

Or just have 20% sales, which makes it only equivalent, not better.

Not all packs go on sale. It's possible our supposedly mathematically challenged friend here may be right that 2400 gems for $180 (correctly calculating a 40% off sale and 3 purchases of 800 gems) would be better than 2000 gems at the full list price of $200. His assumptions are that rainbow bounty packs never go on sale and we see another 40% off sale applicable only to the 800 packs.

So all you haters just need to know what assumptions he was applying when calculating. His math teacher can take the antidote and stay among the living.

Guess the Rainbow pack isn't doing as well as what Gree had hoped for which explains the 30% discount. Will be keep an eye on the next few wars. The starter pack has already screwed this war for many top 10s while opening another door for other guilds.

Would be interested to know the final result at the end of the 3 days.
