It seems to me this might be the case.

Firstly, we have Gree's sophisticated matching system. Whilst 99% of the time this may consist of the janitor at Gree HQ picking 2 syndicates at random out of black cloth bag, anytime a syndicate gets close to completing a consecutives goal then the matter is passed upstairs so they can select a horrendously difficult match for the poor goalward bound souls.

Next we have stat hyper-inflation. No matter what ludicrous numbers they attach to the wins and streak prizes, those prizes will be the equivalent of killing only 10 or so Epic/Raid bosses the next cycle! Therefore pretty worthless in the big scheme of things since the practise of not attaching modifiers to streak/win final goals.

This latter point might be interpreted as a conscious decision by Gree to kill off 'streaking'. After all, the streak approach leads to teams seeking to manage and control their scoring with tactics and timing. Not much use that to Gree who'd rather have you tap, tap, tapping like a demented woodpecker towards some mindless points tally for the battle awards. Therein lies the gold.

Or am I gifting too much insight and understanding of their own game to the developers/commercial managers here? After all, on a number of occasions they've shown a complete lack of understanding of the product and their customers - arbitrarily lengthening one battle weekend to the chagrin of users while at other times doing nothing when the hamster falls off the wheel and the server dies at the close of an event where people are desperate for the full amount of time originally advertised.

Thoughts?

Did you not see the last prize for completing all streaks? It was 100k unit with a big mod on it. The 50 wins prize was nice as well. My streak team merged for rank last war and regretted it.

I didn't look tbh - Icommitted to helping a team and chose selective blindness to the big prizes after having left my streak team unpopulated and not fighting
