I had 9 books with 3 days and 6 hours left to play in the event. I was unable to get the 10th book.

No tenth for me on my two characters with 9 books, one character only had 7. I did seem to win several useless 100 to 300 attack/defense units though. I would have gladly traded all of them for one more book.

At least good to read that gemming appearantly doesn't influence win change. Though, bad for the peeps who gemmed to get that last book.

I saved my gems (and my real cash).
I was at 9 books with 3 days and 6+ hours left, so I had about 65 more open attempts before time ran out. I did not get the 10th book, so I did not get any pixels either.

My guild was not lucky with the final opens. Lots of people ended with 9 books. I got #10 on both my accounts on the penultimate day. The last 10-box event I had 9 at the end and spent about 200 gems and did get the 10th.
