Casbah clash: date and time remaining don't synch

The world map shows the event ends on the 4 th, however the goal clock shows 1 day 16 hrs 47 min left. So that means it would end on the 5 th.

Did I miss or am I missing something?

There can be no confusion in Topsy Turvy land. Just disorientation.

So on one side of the globe the timer appears wrong.

Then on announcing the 5th = the 4th, it appears the date is now wrong for the people on the other side of the globe.

Topsy Turvy Land is pretty cool.

Let's complicate it further. Splash screen on iOS says the 5th, 10AM (PST I'm sure). Splash screen on Androind says... (wait for it :p) the 8th! At least the timer and the splash screen on iOS are consistent with only the gobe saying something different. Androind gives 3 different results from 3 different souces. I think it is safe to say that indeed, it will end on the 5th at 10AM PST. My guess is that the limited time mission starting on the 4th will be another energy event and you will have to decide whether to push on with the current one or abandon ship and start on the new one. Won't be the first time they have done this.

Why is this so difficult? We now have two posts that do not answer the basic question of when does the event end. Are we to assume the event ends on 2/4/2014 or when the timer ends on 2/5/14?

It would be great to know this so players can plan how far they want to go and when they need to complete the event by if they are are planning to use gold.

Please clarify.

No, I think it ends on the 5th and the 6th. But it only ends once in Topsy Turvy Land.

The world is round and it can be the 4th in one place and the 5th in another. It's pretty complicated but I do know that my Android in-game timer shows I have 1d:04h:05m from time of this post, so that would end on the 5th for me.

The last time Gree messed this up, CJ said follow the timer and not the Calender. So this time its different. I am not one to get on here and complain all the time but this is the second time for this simple mistake. Can we please get a answer, WHEN DOES THE EVENT END?
