+1 upgrade would eliminate the choice of whether you should build iph or upgrade the new crappy ltb for the prizes.

No way. It should be a modifier available to more than just the few. My accounts in KA can upgrade something like 6 buildings simultaneously.

One of those was from a unit originally from a box event, but later recycled during an LTQ (which is where I got it) - and not as the top prize either. The rest came from tier prizes in wars if I recall ( and once again, not just for the elite)

If they do release it it should be a syndicate bonus that unlocks after you max out every other bonus or something along the lines of that. Yea gree puts +1 building upgrade on a pedestal like its the best bonus ever made, I always say android players were able to upgrade every building they owned at the same time for over a year n gree makes a big deal about 2. I guess that depends on how much monthly disposable income you have. I'm not a wealthy person, and £105 (the cost of buying 2150 gold in the UK) is a large proportion of mine. The cost of playing this game has been steadily ramped up over the last year. Gree's main income used to come from "complete gacha" games in Japan, but since the government there made those illegal they've switched to sucking players of these former Funzio games dry.

Presumably you think it's ok to take from those with less (ask anybody on an average income whether they have the same buying power as before the banking collapse of 2008) and give to the already rich, who are the only ones whose income has gone up in real terms against inflation in the last five years?

I'd agree not "on the cheap", but equally not some exclusivity for the elite. As said previously I can upgrade 8 buildings at once on one KA account and about 6 on the other. I don't recall where all the units came from but one of them was a war prize, and if I remember correctly which it was the stats suggest it was top 300 (which is around the equivalent of top 400 in crime city).

Another good route would be as a syndicate bonus: perhaps level 1 could give 10% off upgrade times, level 2 would allow 2 simultaneous builds, level 3 20% off cost, level 4 would allow 2 simultaneous upgrades and level 5, 3 simultaneous upgrades.

we've experienced stat inflation for some months now. Most generally agree (not me) that its a bad thing. Well if this modifier is introduced, and is widely available to all, wouldn't the stat inflation problem overflow to the IPH department?

You are correct, most economies do have some basis is wealth redistribution, that doesn't make it correct or viable long term. Anytime you have a progressive income tax system that happens. My suggestion is to do what the already forward thinking (and now rich) economies are doing and get away from this broken system of wealth redistribution and go with a consumption based tax system or at the very least a flat tax. Such a ridiculous spiel. Do try to distinguish between the merely expensive and so-called supercars. How much is the most expensive BMW for example; does it cost as much as any Lamborghini? Just out of morbid curiosity I did have a look at the prices on those - they go from $181,000 to over half a million!

I could use the same argument for watches; people buy Rolexes and the like to show off. It's common knowledge that they don't keep as good time as something a fraction of the price. Each to their own, but just be honest about why you make your choices.

If an extra upgrade wil be a prize it should be a reward for high active players, not depending on luck or goldspending.
so i like the idea for syndicate upgrades. 1. -2%, 2. -3% 3. -5% 4. 10% and 5. +1 upgrade. (something like this).
they could also think of an new event just for this reward.
Or put it on top of an LTB lvl 10 or an random "always available" building lvl 10.

The best why to please people with this reward is make i hard to compleet but available for every one.

Maybe do an event a couple of times and only make is possible to hold the reward once? that why people who later started the game can keep up with higher players. (Only a surgestion if there goal is to make the game more attractive to new players) .
