Well I opened 80 chests and got one epic which was the new Komodo (normal).

beastmaster and moodtide+

that plus the maelstorm i pulled last week from my first chest.

i honestly feel lucky, 2 (40) chest, 3 epics..

not bad for only starting 1 month ago

Nice. My first two 40 chests were 2x epic each (one +version, one normal each), my next 40 were one epic, and this chest I bought 40 and got two legendaries lol... and guess what they were? Clayplate Mantle and Clayplate Mantle+, not including the Clayplate Mantle+ you get from buying 40. Guess I can try going for Tectonic now.
Lucky you got beastmaster though. I want that so bad.

Could be.
Level 37 - Buy 40 chests - One epic + one epic+ (I don't remember if any legendaries, but Idts)
Level 50-55 (Idr the exact level) - Buy 40 chests - One epic + one epic+ - Buy 40 more chests - One epic (Some legendaries because I fused Blazeborne with them)
Level 80-90 - Buy 11 chests - All 2*
Level 96 - Buy 40 chest - three 3*, two 4* (Same ones except one +), no epics
I haven't bought enough to test this but I'll see once I get more money.

Nice Beginners Luck! I see a lot of new players with sandstorm and komodo and I'm pretty sure they haven't opened up a large number of chests. Gree has possibly made it more likely for you to get an epic on your first few chests.

Yeah I'm ranked 2 in arena,and if my epic were not maxed I'd get wrecked. Lots of people my lv(46) with 2 or 3 first evo epics.

I would agree. I was one month in when I got my tectonic, only two weeks later got beastmaster from the beast chest.

I didn't get another epic, by fusing or chest pulls, until I got a maelstrom from an 11 chest pull only two weeks ago. I think it's like casinos. They reel you in with that first great find, then drop your chances back down to normal.
