Folder drop rate

I've read all the complaints about the folder drop rated being really bad & am having the same issues. So I am trying to work around it & find a place on the map that may have a better drop rate. In my line of work (offshore in Gulf of Mexico) complaining gets us nowhere. So... We need to all get together & try to find a solution to the problem.

How about this, everyone post where they actually received a folder drop so others can see if they drop for them as well. Maybe we can find a place where we can get more than the average 4000 to 1 ratio

I've been working Capital City to max it out and been getting folders there. Have not kept track of drop rate or which NPCs gave me the folder but that's one location for sure.

The battle tank in Capitol city gave me 1 folder for every 4 hits. That's 385 energy x 4 = 1540 energy per folder.

Pirate flotilla map, floating airstrip gave me 3 out of 4 on two seperate occasions

Communications Outpost.
Satellite Top Left, gave a folder to both of my units on second hit.

I do appreciate this post more so than others complaints. I was under the impression the higher the energy required to hit the target, the higher likelihood of having a folder. The satellite in communications outpost is an interesting find.

I tried the satellites (both the top and the left one) 4x on each (i.e. 4x4 hits for 4 drops), and got no folders, so perhaps luck is the main factor at play.

Got 4 folders late last night hitting elite targets in the Mountain Pass with 4800 energy. Best I've seen all week. I'm up to 26 folders for approximately 300k energy (includes what I got finishing the LTQ).

I have had zero success. Did the last map with businessman killer. Nada Raided nada Attacked nada. Since rugged case started i have had nada. On android. ios has had better luck and it seems the only solution is to get a iphone or ipad

Captain Lefu in the Border Guard Complex has a good, but random drop rate. Managed 4 in 1000 at some point but next 4000 i got zilch. Generally get 1 or 2 with my max of 2700 energy though roughly.

It's all random and specific targets on the maps do not drop folders more than others.

I've been doing a map with a fighter that costs just over 1k energy per hit and have done 20 hits without any folders. I do not see the higher energy costing targets as dropping folders better than others.

What Gree should do is adjust the drop rate to equall the drop rate of the crates. That drop rate seems much more reasonable and would allow players to collect more than a few dozen before the event starts.

Can anyone confirm droid devices, have no option to buy folders... some older droid devices can't access raid boss, shows coming soon., still... we don't want to see people getting booted for lack of participation, when they're unable to... I've found total four folders since the hunt began, which has my participation looking a lil low... I found my folders at boneyard/emir island... too excited to remember which target tho...

hate to be so cynical but can't help feeling that the delay that was mentioned by the mods will be over as soon as the android folder buying problem is resolved
