Is there a limit to number of matches with same team?

The most we've gotten is the same team 3 times in a row, and 5 times over the entire war

The matcher tries to avoid pairing you with teams you already fought in this war, but can still do so depending on a variety of factors. Matching in any game like this gets really complicated and there are a dozen weights trying to balance individual match quality vs the health of the entire system.

That said, if there's widespread noticing that this is happening more often this war we may need to tweak that piece for the next go around.

We've been matched with Art of War 3 times already, ouch. It certainly seems more common in this war than in previous wars.

At the war's half way mark, we've met three teams three times each, plus a couple of twosies ....so there's no hard rule that keeps us from getting them again.....thanks for the confirmation

I hear a lot people are experiencing same issue. It's not fair facing same team so many times. If trying to win battles, and facing a team you just beat an hour ago they know your plan. I am outnumbered 5:1. Sometimes 10:1. My defense is 14m & I scout whole team with level 250 all of them with equal stats toy own. I get matched teams with similar items for LTQ completion. No matter what I do there is no free battle.
