I find that this box/crate event is my Achilles heal. Similar to the one before this, I spent in excess of 2k gold and still missing one last unit to complete 8/8 items.

On the flip side...been getting plenty rifles which makes it even more annoying cos it's not my objective at all to do so.

I will try hard not participate again on the next box/crate events..I need to break away from this insane spending.

On LLP.. 6/8 units, 15 rifles. Same units over and over again. Spend about 800 gold at this point. Some I know were lucky to have completed the unit event already between 400-600 gold. Last crate event got to 9/10 on day one. Spend 700 gold to get the last one.. never happened. If it doesn't happen this time it was my last gold spend on the damn crate events.

This event is a total joke every time they run this one I'm lucky if I open 5 crates and once again 2 days in I've only opened 2 rifles and zero bonus units I started out using cash opens but now I'm so frustrated I'm only using free hit. I will not use gold on these events as gree is getting to Greedy and my gold use will only be used for wars from now and your losing customers fast with events like this. Once again thanx gree fir screwing over the little guy

You wanna know how to beat this event? Use nothing but gold on the first day! It's the cheapest and most successful way.

Yes dtg is right, I find it easiest to get what you are looking for first couple of hours into it and last couple of hours, this is my experience probably not everyone else's, I got 23 rifles and 8/8 with about 1000 gold but it jumped my stats 528k so no complaints here. This event gets me every time to I personally love the "gamble" of it

I have used 500 gold. I have 7/8 of the troops for event and 21ars. This event has way better odds for me then the bows which was never completed.

I would love to see the algorithm they use, or at least the key influence's. So far, after opening 41 crates, I've got 7/8 of the special units and 8 rifles - without spending a single gold piece. I finally picked up the Vengeance unit. After running out of gold, I decided to go cash only. In 10 or so cash opens, I picked up 2 rifles and the Vengeance. Considering the odds, I got pretty lucky.

Like hooply up there, but not as lucky, I am only lacking 2 more from making 8 on both accounts with 10 rifles and 8 on the other. Zero gold spent, even though it is enticing to spend. I probably will not make all 8 but, would be nice. Attempting opens roughly 14 hours a day.

This event had a nice little twist...I just got 8/8 of the loot prizes which gave a unit with a nice bonus. I can't really complain as I got this using only the mid cash-option (NO GOLD). I must admit that the previous event like this sucked** with the ever humiliating $4000 and $15000 cash drops (still shaking head at gree for that)

Been stuck on 7/8 for a few days now, waiting for the vengeance unit. Ended up spending on this event, which is a first time for me in a very long time. My experience has been quite the opposite, as I've only been opening duplicates of the worst units. I've collected, for instance, 10 infiltrators... What a nightmare. It's difficult to see the first powerful unit we've seen in a long time thats possible for us weaker/poorer players pass me by. A sudden urge to nuke is setting in...

confirmed, didnt get 8 units :D had some gold left from a year ago when gree gave it for non working unit, wasted it here :D got 8+ other units but not the needed one. Now I can breathe easily cause have dusted off the gold that standed there over a year :D
