Two Year Anniversary Forum Winners [Archive]

Whew, that took a lot longer than we thought to look through all those. In addition to the forum thread itself, we received an impressive spread of PMs and even some tickets on this one (mostly backing up names that were already given with sometimes overwhelming amounts of info).

Since we had so many entries, we expanded things to a full 15 winners rather than 10 with 5 runners up. We're in the process of awarding those now, but everyone on the following list will or has already received a small amount of gold and a special item called the "MW Honor Guard" in recognition of making the game or community better for others.

Some of these will look like a no-brainer to most people, and some of them may be controversial, these are our winners. In no particular order:

If you don't have your prize yet, don't worry, it is on its way. I still need invite codes for a couple of people though (notably Dansgek, HookerGirl, Solo and Gigs. Also, Agent Orange, I need to know which account you would like your prize on).

I will also be going through and adding a small amount of gold to everyone who was nominated whose game information I can get ahold of (for both recognition and the extreme patience while we were sorting through the correspondence on this), although that will happen tomorrow.

Thanks for helping make the game and community great, everyone. We will very likely be doing more things like this in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled.

Message from my retirement home ;) : When fellow players nominate you and such is being awarded, one can not but feel honored. At the same time I think about those behind the scenes, loyal to the bone, sacrifice to the extreme and unconditional help. They dont or rarely act on the forum nor do they have friends (nor foes) on the forum. I salud you all.

As to the prize, I have completely lost control over the inventory list. It would take me forever to find it in the unorganised mess of pictures. I assume it will be there somewhere.

For those who have received this prize, I would like to thank you for all of your contributions to the community. I know from personal experience that this game can get frustrating at times, but it is you (and all of the nominees) that make this game better.

Also, would like to thank CJ for doing his best to keep us informed from the Gree perspective and any frustrations that are taken out on him from the community are totally undeserved.

I was referring to the prize the nominees should have had a month ago but never did and the mods have been silent about this for the same amount of time.

Funny thing is that one of the reasons they would award the nominees as well was cause of the patience. (For it taking them a month) so do they get twice the original amount now since its Already twice as long?

Funny how CJ said he was busy with rewarding the nominees a little while back, then close the thread I made about it, and still nothing happened. Still non of the nominees received anything. And we are what? 3/4 months in Now? My 100 attempts on this thread, a new thread, Cj, tardavic, Sirius and support. All either unanswered, or answered claimed to handle on and then don't do anything. I said I would keep nagging about it because it's a matter of principal to me. Well CJ.. you can clap your hands.. you finally broke my spirit. This was my last post about it. Nope.. Still Nothing.. Nothing at all... But no.... We are not getting ignored... Cj was rewarding us as we speak 2 months ago when he did something to my thread I'm not supposed to talk about which got me Something on this forum for a month I'm not supposed to talk about, while half of the forum was talking about it 2 weeks later and they were still able to post.. guess I got on his nerves when I thanked him personally for taking such good care of the nominees of this...

And I don't need interest over that amount. Although it would be in place for making us wait 7 months and counting. I would just be happy if they awarded us with what we deserved and were told multiple times we would get and that it would not be forgotten. Etc etc etc. I couldn't post at that time, but instead they just held a new contest last month. Wonder if the people there did get their promised prizes...
