I've read through page 4 (post #39) at the time of this wirtting. I hope, based on the drop rates I've calculated, that there will be a large number of initial freebies like the first raid boss event. The drop rates I've caclulated are far, Far, FAR too extreme to be the only source of folders. I have complaints with Gree, but before we condemn them to eternal damnation, let's see how it plays out. If the only folders available come from the aforementioned drop rates, I'll be the fiirst on the bandwagon of damnation. I'll even dedicate some of my own business excess web space for expression if this one is shut down (and if anyone else has the technical skills to help). Note this message and PM me if folders are ONLY received through missions and not granted at event start.

What he meant was that your answer was far from a solution to the problem. You can NOT get 20 free gold every day of the month. Sometimes you get 20 per day but that almost never happens anymore. Most of the time I get anywhere between 3 and 20 per day. That's not what this thread is about though.

The problem is that the drop rate for the folders has not changed even though CJ and co fixed some kind of "thing". If they want to come out and say that the way to participate in the boss event is to buy folders with gold, fine. Just say it and don't insult us with "we fixed the thing".

I try several times a day and don't get anything. On my android device I get around 5 a day. Don't try and justify Gree's failures.

I understand the idea of making it difficult to collect enough folders. It would encourage gold spending to buy them. But it should be possible to collect enough folder with lots of activity. I see no way to collect the amount necessary without buying them. That just creates resentment and anger in the community. Please fix the drop rate.

I need to be able to collect 10-15 per day to contribute my share to my faction. At this drop rate I will do about 3 per day. That is when using 100% of my energy during the LTQ. This is not a fair drop rate. Have a rate that is possible to achieve the needed folders. There will still be members buying them rather than spending the time and xp.

No, still only from missions. Initially, CJ stated that you can get folders from PvP and raids but then he retracted that like many other things. But remember the "thing" is fixed. Even though nothing has changed since the last time, the thing is fixed. So if the drop rate is the same as before the last boss event and that problem led them to give out 100 folders per person, doesn't it mean that we should expect 100 free folders this time? Or should we be expected to buy folders with gold as they expected us before they felt huge pressure to give out free folders the last time. Maybe that's the thing that was fixed: no free folders and we should be buying them with gold. CJ, how long will it take you to respond to numerous posts on this matter?

Ok, so for the first 24,000 or energy I used across all my units, I got 4 folders, or a drop rate of 1 per 6,000 which seems about average that people have posted. GREE must have quietly adjusted because since then, I've got a total of 12 more after using 12,000 or so energy, which is 1 per 1,000.

However, even with the increased rate, this payout doesn't make much sense. It is so minuscule in the event and our faction would be done with all our folders in a matter of probably an hour or less. If GREE wants a gold-only event, there should be no doubt about it (i.e. no drop at all) and if they want more participation in an event, the drop rate should be much higher. Floating around in between those two thresholds gives us mixed signals. I read earlier that someone related this to a drug-dealer where the first hit was free and once hooked, would rely on you coming back with cash. Maybe there's some truth in that.

So, what is the drop rate supposed to be?

It appears we have been given 216 hours to collect folders before this Raid Boss event starts on 1/29. I have used 30 hours of standard regen time for total of 0 folders. Even if I had received "1" in this timeframe I would only be able to eek out 7 or 10 on a stretch. Is this the purported fix? A 0.02% drop rate!!! How is this supposed to work even for a maxed out faction, but especially assuming an event requirement of 5-7k. By now I would have a dozen or so crates in that sort of event. Will folders be dropping instead of crates?

Totaly agree with present non-drop rate it will be finshed before it starts. No play no fun. With the starting bonus we went for it and had a lot of fun wich is why we play this game at all isn't it.

Our faction will sit it out if we have to buy them all and then buy more hits. Remember not ever faction has 30million plus stat players who can take out level 80-90 bosses with 2 or 3 hits.

In KA you get orbs which are exactly the same as intel folders. They currently have a LTQ type mission going and you get orbs after killing nearly every mob. In fact you get 2 of them. The disappointing thing is that despite the mods taking the time to answer all of our comments on "our letter" and seemingly advising that they would be more forth coming, things haven't changed.

The only response we have had was CJ telling us that I bug was fixed to allow the intel folders to drop.. A lot of us had hoped that, at least the customer relation levels would have risen.. A mass number of us have been watching to see how Gree would behave within the current weeks and there does not appear to be a sufficient change to the issues that are being raised by the customers

Here is my take on the Intel Folder drop rate. CJ you can comment either way on this but this is really starting to get me angry with this game and GREE as a whole!

I have the same issue where I and many in the faction are busting our backsides off with this Intel Folder issue for the Raid Boss. So far, we have only gotten 191 for our back breaking work!!!!!!! What I see is the Drop Rate has been reduced drastically and GREE "may" have fixed one/several issues with the Folders. But the whole push I see here is they have added the option to buy Folder for 10 Gold at a time. Its GREEdy way of adding and rigging something to exploit the means of generating yet more money to their bottom line. While the cost is low, it is however a money generating means event to increase the revenue. While 100 folders were given to everyone in the first Raid Boss event in MW, it is a classic case of "dangle a carrot in front of a mule and get it to follow".

CJ and Admins, please don't take this the wrong way. But everything about the game just seems to be focused on revenue. At some point, this thinking will eventually be GREE's downfall. To improve a game does not mean that you have to code something into it to generate revenue.

As of now, our team has collected 190 folders. Given that last time our team used over 4,000 folders, 190 means nothing relevant. I've stopped trying. Im not going to incur several thousand XP for to add a drop in a bucket. If they don't give us a starting balance this time, it will be a clear sign management's strategic direction is to eventually become 100% pay to play. That will be the tipping point for me. I'll use up the two vaults of gold I have on-hand and see if I can still enjoy the game as a free player. The enjoyment likely wont last long. Exerting so much time and effort only to lose relative ground is a fun killer.

I'm hopeful, we'll get a starting balance of folders again. Perhaps I'm naive. Or perhaps, I'm in the denial stage of the grief (GREEf) cycle that maybe it's time to nuke my base and move on with my life. Bad drop rates (intel folders, and concrete), failure to communicate with customers (especially after promising to do better), glitches and errors, failing to meet timelines (new LTE building and the statement that Epic Boss will be included this cycle but nothing updated yet), and a total indifference to customer base. These are all indicators of poorly managed company. Where do you draw the line?

Are we getting folders or not? A simple yes or no would be better than what we know now. Maybe it's being kept secret for some unknown reason. Maybe they just don't care enough to answer customer questions. Either way it doesn't encourage me to continue patronizing a company. Any company.

I got 28 folders... About 10k energy. I think before the event gree will give every member of faction 100 folders like they did last time.

When compared to other GREE games that have Raid Boss (equivalent) events, the drop rate for the Intel Folders is extremely low! The problem I see is the other game titles have about 5-6 LTQ events on average leading up to a Raid Boss which helps teams earn enough "Summon items". In my experience with the other GREE titles, the teams collect about 2000+ "summon items" before the Raid Boss.

Why is there similarities in different GREE games, yet SO different in events like Raid Boss?

Since the rugged case has started I have had zero drops on my Android.I have raided,attacked, done maps & ****d and pillige with no success. People within my factions has had drops only with Ios. Hopefully Gree will compensate tomorrow like last time.

I have received like one folder in 2-3 days! I received more folders BEFORE they fixed the drop rate! There is nothing okay about this. I also have not been able to get crates very easily, only slightly more than folders. I spent at least 2500 energy trying for a crate, plus I have leveled up 2-3 times just trying for crates! What gives?

Another failed opportunity for GREE to connect with their consumer. Only the second event of such and they don't even bother dressing in sheep disguise anymore or try to lure us from the herd, just plain ol teeth baring salvation dripping menacing growl expecting us to succumb as a lamb to the slaughter.

Let's admit it... We're whipped... Wrapped around their finger and drop our gold for whatever they serve us. They don't even have to cook... Hades, they can just take it out of the freezer and toss it to us. Do I exaggerate too much to say that we are as hogs in the mire and happy to eat any slop they pour in our trough?

This will be an exclusive gold event, which means that it will be an exclusive top faction event since it will require gold from more members than just a few. That means 85% of the game population will be unable to finish even the second tier if not the first -- whereas the issue isn't about the increased boss strength, which taxes the top factions and individual gold user, but with the available intel folders that the factions have to even summon the bosses in the first place.

We still have to wait and see whether GREE will drop us folders, but after finding out the summon prices have gone up and the strength of the bosses have jumped 70%, does it even matter? As pointed out already, we can't even assume the faction missions arn't drastically more difficult.

I'm a heavy gold user... Don't get me wrong, I am not whinging on my own part... I can complete this event solo like I did the first. My friends... It's the entire principle that disgusts me...

I don't like this! I do not like what they are serving us nor the manner in which they have done so... And I refuse to partake of it! Send this foul obscenity back to the kitchen where you will prepare it properly and serve it to me with the dignity and respect I deserve as your loyal regular customer!

I mean how dare you charge me the price of a fine dining gourmet feast and just toss it to me like slop and expect me to partake because you've assumed I'm hungry and will eat anything you give me... Who does that? On what planet is that acceptable... And then you do it to all of us?

You're right... There will be those who will eat as the prisoner they are, thankful for the fecal matter before them and pay good gold to do so. They and GREE will look at us as if we have the problem.

The question is... Have your personal and individual quests for supremacy become so great that you have allowed them to overcome your sense of dignity, integrity, and decency? And LosKevanos, you're absolutely right. If boss health has in fact increased 70% and number of folders has also increased, there is no way I will be motivated to participate as much as I did last time. It's hard enough for officers in our group to push and try to motivate the team, when it appears doing so means less gains than last time.

Perhaps goals will be reduced, or units improved or some other off-setting benefit. It appears Gree's Method of Operation is to let speculation discourage players before an event. Then when it comes out not as bad as the speculation (but still worse than the last time) we gobble it up and are thankful for the crumbs they toss our way. It's psychology at its worst.
