So how is everyone doing with the Maoi crate event?

With my four accounts, and all cash hits, no gold: 8 / 7 / 5 & 4. The ones at 8, 7 & 4 have been there for two days now. Also, if the crate opens and no Maoi head, it's a useless $4,000 prize. Didn't get any free small units this event.

I'm just curious how everyone else is doing.

Just got my 10th today. Used a fair amount of gold a few days ago to get 4 of them. Was very surprised I got the last one on a cash open, figured I'd need gold for it.

I'm on 9/10. had an awesome streak up to the seventh, struggled for one day to get 8 and 9 and have been trying to get the 10th for 48 hours now. all cash opens.

what grinds my gears is the ridiculously WORTHLESS CRAP they put in most of these boxes. 4k cash, 150 Valor and not one decent unit in about 30 openings (apart from the main prizes).. srsly!?

Well I have like this:

10/10 on main account (ios, all cash openings)
3/10 on mini thats on droid (crappy drop rate, all not registering, all free openings)
8/10 on supermini (ios, all free openings )

P.S If U get a streak of 10-15 times better luck next time in a row, then usually after that U get moai head. Not always, but most of the time. Has been like that on previous events too

Are you kidding? Even with free tries you're halfway there. I got to 10 Maoi Heads with only cash tries and increased my stats more than 100k on both atk/def (including bonuses), all for < $10mil in-game cash total (You also get a 14k/13k unit on 9/10).

9/10 from 2 days, i found $4000, $6000, 150valor, 300valor, 500valor (1 time) all cash openenings.
This is not the first time that i stopped at second to last

on 9/10 for 50+ hrs valour , cash insults and whole lot of 'sorry' cash only only ever completed 1 (yeh ONE) of these events in 2 years of playing :-(

Same here 9/10 for 2 and half days! $4000, and $6000 does not make up for the fact we will not complete it, just reduce the chances of me doing the next one or spending any more on events!

200/5,000,000+ players will make it to 10/10 with cash opens. Those other 4,999,800+ players will be required to use gold to get 10/10. Extra players will require to use a vault to obtain 9/10 heads and an extra vault to get that 1 last head. This is my theory, anyone else care to share?

A plea to the developers of the crate events! Bring back units and Concrete! I'd rather get x10 concrete than $4000 & $15000 in cash. I can raid for that and get rid of the valor! These two are easily attained through raids. Though the drop rate on concrete is so bad right now you have to have accounts that's all they do is hunt for the faction. Lame development idea. So please help us out!

Managed to complete it all in 24hrs, used under 400 gold, most of it on 9/10 to ensure or increase my chances.
