i was just wondering if each video watched netted gree a small money amount? if 10Gems = $2, and 800=99.99 - the average gem is somewhere at 15-16 cents each. id assume they make less than that on a video add, maybe pennies. but was just wondering.

Yeah, Gree probably makes $100,000 a month on those ads, if not more. The client pays to have their video posted, and everytime someone watches a money clock chimes somewhere. As far as the gems, what do you think someone is buying? A real gem? Hells no, its just a virtual, non-existant thing. It doesn't cost them anything for them, execpt the $70,000+ a year they pay their senior programmers. You pay real cash to Google, or Apple, they auto-gen a transaction to gree greenlighting a 375 gem add-on, and then you see your gems go from 0 to 375, and it didn't "cost" them anything. Then in 6 months when you stop playing, you cry about the $3750 you wasted, knowing you have nothing to show for it, and google/apple and gree just sit back and laugh their ass off...

I'm pretty sure the advertisements pay GREE to put their video up. They make money by people viewing it.
