When there are deadbeats and punching bags among your deserving members, do you find it helpful to keep them on the books so your syn looks popular, and thus attractive to those looking for a syndicate, or is it better to just kick them to the curb?

Deadbeats are one thing. Punching bags another

If a punching bag is really interested in getting better, and willing to put in the extra time and heavier participation on events to do so (ie individual/raid boss and spending entire time on the LTQ), I can't see how you can knock them. Realistically in the top 50, you get rid of one punching bag and scouts will find another, and you kicked an active player for almost no reason. Most syns at that level have extensive intel on you by the second day of the war.

Thanks for the feedback, GucciMane.

We coach our punching bags. If they respond we make every effort to keep them around.

get rid of deadbeats!

OK they make you look popular but that's it...

any serious player joining you, will soon want out after seeing high numbers of deadbeats doing nothing!

& we have a couple of punching bags who probably cost us over 30K in Battle Event but, they're active & also have good IPHs. They've been kicked out of several other Syndicates but, Leader & Officers made conscious decision to keep them & make them stronger. They've doubled their stats in a few weeks & have helped pay for a few additional Synd Bonuses - so, in my book, everyone's a winner...

OK we are quite low level (made 748 in last Battle) and your 'ideal' position/ranking will affect how you view them but, we still climbed over 50 spots carrying around 5 high level players with less than 5K stats per lvl...
